A slick operation in Bayswater. The little kitchenette is ideal. Good facilities in a nice quiet area of London, within easy walking distance of Underground. A nice hot shower, hairdryer, tea and coffee, TV. All good and good value.

THE POSITIVES -Location is very convenient, one blocks from Kensington Gardens in Hyde Park and 2 blocks from a Metro (Tube) station -Staff - very friendly -Room very clean, same with bathroom and kitchenette -Bed, extra comfortable -price is right THE NEGATIVES -First of all, that photo you show was NOT what greeted me when I arrived at the property and it didn't look as clean as that when I arrived! -There was a lot of construction on the street, and frequent bunches of garbage right on the sidewalk. Quite unsightly. -Although most of the room was clean, this was not accurate about the walls. Lots of chipped areas and 'repair' holes that should have been filled in -No cupboards in the room. except a narrow closet to hand coats, and so on. You have to take clothes in/out of your suitcase. The only shelf in the room was a very high shelf at the top of the closet where they had the iron! No stools -Kitchenette. Sure has everything you need but items tores way high and no stool provided and plugs for appliances under the kitchen counter, so you have to bend down to access them! -Room advertised as a double studio. Not exactly. it is a very tiny room with a double bed. - No place to relax and sit down - no desk. Property claims the fold down flap under the TV is the desk. you have to be kidding me. It is very flimsy nd in bad shape and when you put this flap down, you have to sit on the bed, because the chair in the corner is useless -Phone to reception never worked, so you had to go down to reception to make reauest or comments, Ridiculous -WiFi connection,. very sporadic and unrealiable. -We were without water in the entire building. Couldn't flush toiler, couldn't take shower, all because a tiny valve that needed replacing. Outrageous -laptop safe on the floor in the closet! *regarding the phone and WiFi issues, staff claimed that it was because of construction. Excuse me, if a hotel offers this, make sure it works all the time, never mind the construction. This property has changed names 3 times. My opinion is that it is painfully obvious that property owners have no interest in upgrading their property to standards. There is no point in berating receptionist, who are very courteous. All above issues are not their fault. Owners frankly are irresponsible Advice re size of rooms etc. I will definitely be more diligent and ask for measurements. If I had, I would have NOT booked here in a million years. I'm not a big person but it was difficult to move around that tiny space!

Near to the tube station. Staff v friendly. Room small but has everything you need. Bed really comfortable and the duvet is warm. Shower is superb. We will be staying again when we go to the West End again. Would recommend it and can't wait until we visit again

Compact Clean Convenience modern rooms with a fab shower and kitchenette ideal for a night or two. Close to underground or a car park if driving at Q-Park Queensway. Bag drop was full but our rooms were ready anyway. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The only thing listed in room amenities is bathrobe and slippers this was not the case neither of our 2 rooms had them but for 1 night it didn't matter.

We are two adults & 17 yr old son. Our first time ever to London. Bayswater is a very nice & safe area, hotel is close to subway and buses. Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens are short walk. Shopping & restaurants are couple blocks over on Queensway. The area itself feels very safe. MStay 39 is an upscale modern little hotel. Hotel does not have a proper lobby...just a reception desk. Daniel, our host was very pleasant and helpful. We arrived couple hours early so he stored our luggage while we explored the neighbourhood. Our room was on the main level next to elevator facing the back....rooms are quiet. Our room is clean, compact and efficient. Definitely comparable to many NYC sized hotel rooms....small. Our two medium sized Heys suitcases stay under the bed, there is no place for a chair/desk in our room. We booked a triple bed room, queen bed plus twin bed. Beds take up all the space in the room and are harder than I like, & pillows are mehh. Laminate & ceramic flooring (no carpeting....good for allergy sufferers). Kitchenette has all you need to make your own breakfast & lunch (microwave, toaster, kettle, even a double burner with pot/pan, plates, mugs, glasses & cutlery). Free wifi. Overall, it is perfect for what we need while in London. I only wish there was more room in the room itself.....my bedroom at home is bigger, so navigating at night time in the dark is little tricky around the beds. If it had more space and a proper chair/desk I'd give it 5 Stars. For what we paid to be in a good part of London the room/hotel is really good. We plan on doing a lot of sightseeing so will not spend a great deal of time in the room.

La ubicación es excelente, a solo 5 minutos del parque, el metro y el bus, en un barrio tranquilo. La habitación era espaciosa, con calefacción y aire acondicionado funcionando perfectamente. La cama era cómoda y la cocina en la habitación resultó muy útil, especialmente con un supermercado cerca. Como puntos a mejorar, el ba?o era algo peque?o, aunque funcional, y había un espejo enfrente de la cama que no nos convenció, pero lo solucionamos fácilmente. Los cojines no eran los mejores, pero se dormía bien igualmente. En general, una estancia agradable y recomendable por su comodidad y excelente ubicación.

Lovely tidy rooms in a great location. Stayed a few nights as I was running London marathon this year. Great central location. Price not bad at all for London. The rooms are small but spotless and have everything you need, they have made excellent use of the small space available, the plugs underneath the kitchen units were a bit annoying as the leads to kettle and toaster were not long enough to reach properly, a potential hazard if your not very careful. The only thing I had staying in one of the downstairs rooms you could hear the underground rushing along below you, not too loud but definitely aware of it. I would have been happier with a window or door that opened to let some air in with it being such a small space, these were all sealed all the way round.

I had a reservation at this hotel, but due to an issue with my son, we couldn't stay there. Despite having a non-refundable reservation, I explained the situation to them and they refunded all of our money, even though the cancellation policy that we agreed to when making the reservation included a cancellation fee. This is a clean hotel with all the facilities, situated in a very beautiful area of London, near Hyde Park, with very friendly and helpful staff. Everything looks exactly like in the presentation pictures. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
