Cons: We went in January and the biggest issues that we faced were 1) the windows of the building were always left open so it was very cold everywhere in the building - cold in the lobby, in the bar, in the restaurant, in the hallways, and even cold in our room. The heater in the room was very slow to warm the room up and it would not go past a certain temperature. 2) two different front desk personnel were repeatedly, very unprofessional. 3) it was difficult to receive a room that did not smell like smoke. So they "upgraded" us to a nicer room (that was supposedly a non-smoking room) but charged us more for the room since it was a "nicer" one... Yet it looked identical to the first room.
Pros: The outdoor grounds are nice and the building is nice. The bartenders were always very nice. Even though there were very few people staying in the hotel, the restaurant and gift shop always had cashiers/waitresses able to serve use. The hotels location is convenient for us (close to the factory that we were frequenting).
