Is bit out of town but a beautiful tranquil setting over looking a lake .i was upgraded to the executive suite which was just absolutely fabulous !!! I would love to have stayed more nights to enjoy the room fabulous room . Staff excellent . The toiletries were to die for ~ I wish they sold the body cream !!

It was already my second stay in this hidden and most beautiful boutique hotel! Where shall I start? You enter the door and you just feel like home. You can spend hours in just wandering around and look at the little details the the owner Dushi made by herself! There is art in every corner! Wonderful flowers and little beautiful animals. The rooms are all individually designed and very handpicked decorated!! You sleep like and angel there! And then the food, omg, it's yummylicious! Mouthwatering! I always had dinner in here, the taste is unbeaten and the prices are amazing! The breakfasts are incredible!! The staffmembers are all very kind and pay a lot of attention! The pool is great and refreshing! And it's very close to the citycenter, so very good located! It's definitely a 12/10 and I will return! I can recommend it to everybody. It's the perfect contrast to the bustling city, on an island in a lake. Dushi and her team are doing an amazing job!! Thank you for everything!?? Hugs from Switzerland, Sandhya

The location on the lake and setting are superb. The owner has made this boutique hotel a wonderful oasis from bustling Colombo. The room we had was huge with views overlooking the lake and pool. Breakfast and dinner Al fresco were excellent and service second to none. Imran the manager was most welcoming and made our stay one to be remembered from arrival to departure. We had 2 delightful days. A hotel we will won't forget!

L'hotel è molto bello e particolare e si mangia molto bene anche se la colazione è limitata a un piatto principale a scelta e tutto il resto si paga e questo non va bene. Troppo distante da tutte le principali attrazioni di Colombo, l'hotel è anche pieno di mosquitos, ciò che non rende piacevole il soggiorno. Belle le stanze, la piscina è piccola e sempre all'ombra così come i lettini in quanto gli alberi coprono tutta la zona esterna e sporcano in continuazione la piscina che dovrebbe essere pulita costantemente e invece non lo è. Hotel non economico per quello che offre ma personale davvero molto ma molto gentile.

Stunning place, very friendly staff. In the heart of colombo but very green and quiet. There was something wrong with the hottub at first but they offered us a different (better room). We had an amazing stay and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. 10/10 would recommend!

I have stayed and organised the stay for my clients all over India, Nepal, Malaysia and Singapore so far. Just launched my business in Srilanka and used Aathma Colombo house for my first clients and stayed here as well. This is the most beautiful accommodation I have ever seen. Every single piece in this house is an art and so carefully selected. This place should be must in your list of accommodation in Srilanka. They also have few other properties in Srilanka including Galle which we will definitely use it for our future clients. The food (especially the house specials) he is the best in Srilanka. Staff are so friendly and professional. ????

This wonderful boutique hotel is an oasis of peace, quiet and colour right in the center of Colombo. Overlooking a lake, amidst the green, beautifully furnished by the owner-artist herself. We stayed 2 nights right after our arrival in Sti Lanka, and what a great way to acclimatise and start our holiday. Our host and all the staff made us feel very welcome and at home, the house is truly home. The rooms are amazing and so is the food. Highly recommended!

It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in, it had fashion on the walls , evry room had its own story and you are right next to a lake with lots of Crocodiles ,. All the people in the hotel were the kindness people you'll ever meet if you want something they'll get you it but make it 100 times better. If you want someone to chat to you they'll chat to you for hours with amazing information you'll need on your journey. By Cosy lewis aged 10
