Acqua is a 5 star luxury condominium community that features 36 units including 2 penthouses on top floor, several owner occupied condos as well as several Airbnb and rental units and vacation condos. I highly recommend it

We booked a condo from a friend. The security was good for most things .It is at the end of the main shopping *****. Really not far to walk to many restaurants and shops ,that is if you can take the heat.My wife stated their Spa/ Saloon was well priced and they were professional.Grounds well maintained ,workers cleaning around the pool continually. The condo was comfortable and clean .We were concerned after booking that there was a Bad review over the pool area. After talking to a few condo owners the review was true concerning mold.They stated that the management had just cleaned the area and painted the curbing. We could see similar issues returning before we left .I really do hope they maintain it. Both pools are shallow for adults and warm. There are cameras every where yet when people got stuck in the elevators 2 times no one responded .They do have a call button in the elevators but you really have to look for it and NO wordage for the HELP button in ANY language on the one we used . Gym is as shown. Pros You are right on the beach. Cons Construction every day on one side as well as an eye sore Condo block next door and the Best Western activity staff with thier daily loud announcements But if you get a deal on a stay you might consider it. TIP Before booking ensure the owner does not have remote control on the AC.

We made a last minute change to our itinerary to spend three days in Jaco and were so pleased to find this beautiful well built and well maintained beachfront boutique condo/hotel. Great security. Beautiful pool. Each condo is individually owned so check AirBnB for availability. The furniture and appliances will vary from unit to unit. Find a south facing condo. (The adjacent condo on the north west side is an eyesore building in great disrepair).
