If you are literally wanting a bed in a room that is semi secure then crack on and go for it. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend. We have ended up booking another hotel for the rest of the break as one night was enough here. A break down below: Incredibly basic no food to offer, not even snacks no soap in the apartment, nothing turned the aircon off indefinitely. Just a little bit sad generally Locking system and safe in the room are worrying

Great location, plenty of shops and resturants just outside, taxi rank nearby and 5 min walk and you're at the beach. Super friendly and welcoming staff and spotlessly clean hotel Was worried after booking and then reading some of the reviews...but we was very pleased with our stay. Yes rooms are basic, but are clean and comfortable. We had a great time....thanks all at Africamar.

Just got back from Africamar and for a cheap holiday it wasn't to bad. Grips room was on the front on a very busy main road load noise from traffic 5-30 am till 01-00am busses come by every 10 mins or less ( good if you want to catch a bus somewhere ) room only serviced twice in a week but has a solo traveller it was OK because they left towels for two guests but had to make my own bed ?? Bar didn't open till 9am so if you fancy a coffee early you have to go out. Good side very friendly staff and owners it's clean and close to the main bar street all in all not bad for a short break or a solo traveller but would not take the family but thanks to all the staff for a pleasant stay

Stayed for a week in October. If I am honest I have a mixed review of Africamar. The location is great, five minutes to the beach, close to the bus stop, lots of bars and restaurants around. The resort itself is nice and easy to get around. Public areas of the apartments / hotel are nice bright and clean. Staff very welcoming (Best thing about the place). The pool area is nice, however, some older and longer term residents take up residence early in the morning with their towels on the sun beds and then also use the tables and chairs that surround the pool, bad form really. We had rooms side by side which I was grateful for. However, our room - while the bed was comfortable, the smell of drains was really really bad in the bathroom. our shower drain was stained yellow, even with wet towels over the outlets in the shower and sink the smell was really bad. I showered with my socks on! There was no soap in the bathroom and the cleaners took the towels but didn't replace them. Bins weren't emptied either. Room was a bit grubby. My mams room opposite ours was actually quite nice, clean and bright, no smell in the bathroom, but she couldn't lock her sliding door. It was old and stiff and just didn't work. No air con in the rooms either. So mixed review from me. Again the staff on reception and in the bar were great, cleaning not so good. Would I recommend to a friend .....- sorry Africamar - probably not, but maybe we were unlucky....

Just back from a 4 day short break in this delightful apart/hotel. The apartment is basic but for the price you pay you won’t get 5 star. Lovely comfy beds we had 2 bed apartment with 2 bathrooms a separate lounge and twin bedroom. Balcony doors were stiff but all locked without issue. Key safe and key issued at checkin. Kitchenette is basic but hob microwave and fridge. Fabulous friendly staff nothing was too much for them. One of our party had mobility issues and we had hired a scooter ramp was steep but staff took up and down and no issues with charging it. Personally I feel this is a little gem ideally located good choice of shops bars and restaurants a few steps away. No issues with sun beds when coming down at 10am. Room cleaned once while staying but what do you expect in 4 day stay. Carnt wait to return

Nous étions deux adultes et deux enfants. Nous avons apprécié la proximité avec la grande rue commer?ante avec tous ces restaurants en bord de mer, et les supermarchés.
Le seul bémol a été de devoir demander à la réception des couverts, des assiettes, verres ... qui n'étaient pas en nombre pour une famille de 4. De plus il y a une cuisine mais pas de table et de chaises pour pouvoir manger !! Juste une table basse. Dommage. Nous avons donc pris nos petits déjeuners dans l'appartement, mais avons déjeuner et diner à l'extérieur. Pas le même budget au final.
Mais à part ?a nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Just back from a 3 night stay here. On arrival the hotel is clean & in great location to bars, shops & restaurants. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, which is a great size & had a small kitchenette. The patio doors wouldn’t open & when we boiled the kettle it tripped the electric. We informed the staff (who were all lovely) & they rectified these issues. However, the main problem for me was there was no air conditioning! I specifically chose accommodation with a/c as it’s still quite hot at the moment. There was a sign up beside the lifts just stating that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the air conditioning wasn’t working. It made getting dressed a nightmare as we were just constantly sweating. We did get fans but they didn’t really do much. All in all, the staff were nice, hotel in a good location but I wouldn’t stay again.

Have just returned from a fabulous week at this gem of a place. We booked because of the great reviews and the location, it didn't disappoint. As soon as we stepped through the door we felt so welcome and were treated like part of the family. We will be returning without a doubt. Thank you Africamar! Klimaanlage war aus technischen Gründen nicht Ende September nicht mehr an. Am sich ist es eine gute, sehr saubere Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt. Strand, Bus (auch Bus zum Flughafen und nach Palma) und alle Gesch?fte bestens zu Fu? erreichbar. Negativ anumerken ist nur, dass das Hotel SEHR HELLH?RIG ist!
