We stayed here last year and loved it so much we came back - perhaps that wasn't the thing to have done. The location, pool area is beautiful and peaceful. The apartments are basic but spacious. Although they are just on the edge of the town it is only about a 10 minute walk to the centre and 15 to the beach. There are a number of bars and restaurants along the way. The administrator lady was lovely and helpful (not the English speaking receptionist). When we arrive we didn't get the apartment we booked on the 1st floor, we were given a ground floor apartment, the English speaking receptionist couldn't have cared less. The apartment wasn't very clean at all. The sink was actually black and other areas poor. Once we complained this was quickly dealt with by a lovely lady, however the apartment needs a good deep clean especially around the shower heads (water doesn't come out very well) and cooker. The sink in both bathrooms was actually removed to be cleaned. The blanket at the bottom of the bed was also dirty. I think the cleaner needs to spend less time on her phone and more time cleaning and apartments should be inspected by someone who has authority. The English speaker receptionist is abrupt and not very friendly at all. Once our apartment had been cleared we would have spent another night.
