The room had a beautiful view! The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast brought to the room daily was so warm, delicious and heartfelt.

Our room was very comfortable except for the mosquitoes. I guess we could have kept the windows closed all day but … maybe screens on the windows would help. There is breakfast included but you don’t go to a common area, they bring it up to you in a basket. Up all those stairs as there isn’t an elevator. It is typical Italian breakfast so more like dessert for me. Also, there is no provision for diet requirements. No vegan, no gluten free etc. The hotel is in Dorsoduro, calm and quiet but in good walking proximity to all the attractions. Though not specific to Alla Corte Rossa, beware of buying bottled water. It’s quite scary what they charge for it.

Lo mejor fue lo sabroso de la colación que Mateo nos llevaba diariamente a la habitación. No me gustó que la coladera del cuarto de regadera desahogara con lentitud el agua

Es handelt sich dabei nicht um ein Hotel im klassischen Sinne, sondern um ein privat geführtes Haus mit individuellen kleineren Wohneinheiten und einem Frühstücksservice. In einem Korb werden zu einer vorher vereinbarten Uhrzeit ein typisch italienisches Frühstück an die Zimmertür gebracht. Im Zimmer gibt es einen kleinen Tisch und Stühle, so dass man bequem das Essen dort einnehmen kann. Der Treppenaufgang ist schon etwas abgelebt und die Handl?ufe müssten auch einmal wieder gereinigt werden (besser: mindestens 2x am Tag!), aber das Zimmer wurde t?glich gereinigt und war prinzipiell in Ordnung. Aus den beiden Fenstern schaute man auf einer der zahlreichen Kan?le und dem gesch?ftigen Treiben. Ungewohnt war das Bad: die Toilette stammt aus dem letzten Jahrhundert und die Dusche ben?tigt etwas Artistik und K?rpergefühl, um hier die richtige Position zu finden, um das Wasser auf sich selbst zu lenken und nicht auf den Duschvorhang oder gar in das Bad hinein. Ein paar unangenehme Gerüche musste man dabei auch in Kauf nehmen…

We had the canal view room shown on the site. Nice size room, great view, close to train station and a plaza with numerous restaurants. The main attractions are easily walkable but far enough away to not make this area as crowded as the rest of Venice. The breakfast basket was a nice touch with enough food for breakfast and snacks for the day. Small staff but extremely personal and friendly. Would highly recommend without hesitation.

Frigobar do quarto nao funcionava nem para gelar água. Tivemos que utilizar o freezer da cozinha do hotel durante a estadia porque n?o podiam consertar o frigobar do nosso quarto
Cobran?a da taxa municipal feita somente em dinheiro em espécie e sem devolu??o do troco
O quarto solicitado era para 3 hóspedes e no dia da chegada estava organizado para 2 hóspedes. Tivemos que solicitar que arrumassem para 3 hóspedes
Hotel bem antigo e como nos colocaram no último piso tinha cerca de 40 degraus de escada bem estreita para subir e estávamos com 3 hóspedes e 3 malas foi bem complicado

Was only a short walk from the train station to the property which was an awesome surprise. Room was very nice had the most comfortable bed compared to our other four stays while traveling Italy. Matteo is very kind and helpful. Having the delightful breakfast brought to your door every morning puts it to an outstanding stay and will be recommending to any friends or family visiting the city. If you go in the direction of the alleyway when exiting the property you can find some of the best dining in Venice or take the hike to Castello. 10/10 stay
