Lovely well kept appearance on the outside , lawns and night lights very attractive. The rooms are old fashioned and the bathrooms need updating. Our Room was only cleaned when asked , food average but a good selection and kind attentive resturant staff. However it is an oasis and probably the best in the village and in a great position. I hope it gets updated and gets itself a better name.

Our stay at Hotel Amar Mahal was truly delightful. From the warm welcome to the impeccable service, comfortable accommodations, and seamless arrangements, every detail was handled with great care and professionalism. Their team’s dedication and courteous approach played a key role in making our stay not only comfortable but genuinely memorable. We deeply appreciate the efforts put in by your entire staff and are grateful for the cooperation and hospitality extended to us throughout our visit. It was a pleasure staying with them and we look forward to visiting again in the future. This is a beautifully designed property, with extensive gardens and terrific views across parts of Orchha. There is a beautiful roof terrace with some seating in pergolas, great for watching the sun go down. The bed was super comfortable (although a bigger sheet would have been desirable because as soon as you lifted the cover, the sheet became untucked and never stayed put for a whole night). The room was spacious, too. I feel generally the hotel is struggling to keep up with rolling renovations and repairs. In our room the AC was broken and we had a convector heater which has seen better days (dusty and dirty). The lamp on the writing table was hanging off by a wire and the sink in the bathroom was cracked. You also need to nab the cleaning staff if you want your room serviced, they don't automatically come. The restaurant is ok, but we found much more interesting and varied places to eat in town. The atmosphere is a little soul-less. The WiFi was unsteady and wandered from router to router even though you stayed put. They still use plastic water bottles - it would be lovely to see a move to re-useable glass bottles which we have encountered elsewhere. We liked staying here but things need addressing if the hotel isn't going to start looking really shoddy in the rooms in the foreseeable future.

Groepsrondreis . Kamer 102 , Slecht bed ( matras met veren, die in uw rug staken ) Wifi slecht Eten en ontbijt niet te fameus . In restaurant , reftergevoel en warm, enkel ventilatoren . Mooie omgeving , geen alcohol verkrijgbaar. Kamer en badk ok , maar zeer oubollig 2** max ( Indische 3*)

Nice, quaint and relaxing place to stay. You seem to live in a different period with the gardens, elegant corridors, furniture and flautist welcoming you! The building might need some repairs, though. The swimming pool water needs cleaning... The reason why I have taken points out is that they lied to us as if were children; when we arrived at 13:00 we asked for a beer and were said no alcoholic drinks were permitted outside meals, that we could ask for beer or wine at lunch and dinner time. So we did for dinner...It was not true. We even asked for alcohol-free beer and said they did not have such a thing. It IS not the fact of not being able to have a nice glass of wine ( we were celebrating something) but the fact of have been cheated as a young girl.

Pernottato, cenato e fatto colazione, usufruito del servizio massaggi. Tutto ok. L hotel è ottimamente posizionato, vicino al fiume ed ai cenotafi dei rajah. La struttura e’ heritage, con bei giardini e vista. C’è piscina. Camere (la mia era la 131) spaziose e belle, con splendido bagno in marmo. Suggerisco di prendere camere lontane dall area reception, tipo la 131, più tranquille e spaziose. Ottime sia la cena che la colazione. Personale gentilissimo. Pare che nell hotel si svolgano molti sposalizi. Questo può essere un problema, tanta gente, rumore e servizio meno attento. Quando ho pernottato stavano arrivando gli ospiti di un matrimonio. Devo dire che il disturbo è stato minimo, ma non era il giorno del matrimonio..lo staff dell hotel mi ha anche aiutato a fare il giro dei palazzi e templi di orccha. Tutto ok quindi

Ein kleines sehr sch?nes Hotel . Die Zimmer liegen sch?n gestaltet rund um einen gepflegten Innenhof. Die Lage ist gut fu?l?ufig zum Tempel und zum Palast. Es gibt ein Restaurant mit gutem indischem Essen. Ein Pool l?dt zur Entspannung ein. Wir waren bereits 2019 schon einmal da und es hat uns auch diesmal wieder gut gefallen.

la nostra camera era nel cortile principale, dove tutte le camere sono a piano terra sotto un porticato meraviglioso che affaccia su un giardino rigoglioso e curatissimo.la nostra camera era molto grande con uno spazio salotto,?scrivania e letti separati. Comodi. Il bagno grande con finestra che, se vogliamo proprio trovare un difetto, aveva una vasca un po’ usurata, ma è una vasca con doccia e con protezione in vetro che evita di allagare il bagno, acqua abbondante e caldissima. Biancheria pulita e soprattutto bianca e non ingrigita e usurata. Colazione abbondante anche di cibi non indiani. Molta frutta: almeno tre varietà :ananas papaya e cocomero. Dolci sottoforma di minima muffin, yogurt fresco, miele. Uova bollite e possibilità di ordinare omelette e quant’altro senza sovraccarichi. Anche la zona piscina è curatissima e molto bella. La piscina ha una parte dedicata alla idromassaggio. Noi abbiamo trovato questo albergo fantastico. 300 m più avanti dall’ingresso al cortile dell’albergo potete trovare i centafi, ma ricordatevi di andare a fare il biglietto ai palazzi principali. In base alla nostra esperienza, consigliamo questo albergo e ci stupiamo del punteggio di Tripadvisor così basso.

Very nice place. 1. Large, spacious, green, tastefully decorated and beautifully maintained. 2. Breakfast spread was good and dinner quality was also very good. 3. Very supportive and courteous staff 4. In the morning, they had someone play the flute. It was a melodious start of the day! All in all, great experience and value for money.
