What a fab holiday. Beautiful hotel and staff. My mum and I shared a room in block 5, which was a perfect location for us. We had the upstairs room, which was nice and spacious plus well decorated. Only niggle is the missing towel hooks in the bathroom room. We had a late arrival to the hotel, and was pleasantly surprised to find a well needed sandwich and water in the fridge for each of us. Let's get to the good bit, THE FOOD! The food at this hotel is the best I have had on holiday hands down. It's so refreshing to see a smaller variety of options, as it can be too overwhelming, leading to over consumption and waste. Breakfast, the omelettes were 10/10. However my favorite part were the pancakes. Do I dare confess I was eating about 10 of them a day ?? all credit goes to the female chief for those. Absolutely delicious with the peanut butter and chocolate spread. Dinner, as mentioned the best dinners I have ever had on holiday. Everything was fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked. Real Mediterranean cuisine. If you want chips and cheap burgers, this is not the place for you. However if you want, fresh, Mediterranean, organic food cooking by professionals, this is the place to be. I cannot thank the chef's in blacks and the head chef in white enough. Every meal was spot on. It was exciting to see what was for dinner the next day, and each day was just as delicious as the last. Lastly It's was so nice to see the manager being present on site and giving credit to his team where it was due. Every time, we would share praises for the dinner we had, he was look at his head chef and direct the thanks and praises back to him. For an end of season stay, you would not have known as the service from all was second to none, nothing was lacking with only 1 week of the season remaining. Would 100% stay here again for the food alone. Thank you all at Anna island

My daughter and I stayed at Anna Island in room 5202for a week just before the end of season. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and with a very comfortable bed. This is a large resort with plenty of sun beds to lounge on. Due to our holiday being towards the end of the season, we did not witness any early morning rush to save beds. While around the pool we were well looked after by Kostas and Irena. They also looked after us during breakfast and dinner too. As many have said before the breakfast was excellent. As our stay was on half board we enjoyed superb food in the evenings. The choice of food changed every day, and we were genuinely excited to see what well cooked and tasteful delights we would have the pleasure of experiencing. Our compliments to the chefs, especially from my daughter who has food intolerance’s, but would regularly go up for second helpings. We are definitely planning a return visit, but not so close to the end of the season mainly due to the weather.

The family has built a wonderful adult-only add-on to the Anna Hotel, and although there are still very minor things that need looking at, it rightfully deserves its No.1 rating in Pefkohori. We didn`t experience any problems in the well-appointed rooms and the outside areas are excellent ( can`t imagine how much has been spent on the fantastic plants and shrubbery ). We were only bed and breakfast, so we can`t report on evening meals, but everybody we talked to seemed to be happy with the choice and quality of the food. One thing that we need to remark on is the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, who always greeted us with a smile. 10/10, we will be back.

A Haven of pure tranquility?? Is how the hotel is advertised. Unfortunately for our stay Anna Island could not have been further away from this. We spent two weeks at Anna Island in block 4. Tranquility ended when the pool bar opened. Music blasted out all day until the bar closed at 7pm. It got louder as the day progressed. During our second week we witnessed guests who could hardly get out of the pool because they were so drunk and on one occasion men were dancing on the pool bar which was encouraged by staff. Sitting on our balcony at lunchtime came with the additional loud music from the Anna Hotel ( which is behind block four) plus on a few occasions guests below us were also playing loud music - it was coming from all directions. On our second day we mentioned to the receptionist that we couldn't stand the noise and she said she would ask for it to be turned down - it didn't happen. Positives were there were plenty of sun beds, modern rooms, breakfast was good and we enjoyed a couple of evening meals in the restaurant which was reasonably priced at 15 euro per person (not many vegetarian options although the chef was happy to make up a pasta dish). I would have struggled to find a variety of vegetarian food to eat if I had booked half board. It was a short walk to the beach but the beach was packed. Sorry to say we had a very average holiday.

This hotel has so much potential, the rooms are lovely and I agree with the niggles of no hooks or toilet roll holder in the bathroom but a small niggle. I have to say we didn't enjoy the breakfast, it was cold and chaotic, the weather was not that great so the restaurant was not big enough to cope with the amount of guests wanting to eat inside, staff seemed very stressed and clearly had not experienced wet conditions as there had not been rain since the hotel opened. Not being picky but the hot plate does not keep the food warm, purely because the hot plate heats the middle of the dishes and not the food, so scrambled egg etc was luke warm and just not enjoyable. We had 3 room moves, the room in block 4 only gets the sun all day if you are in the very end of the block and so we moved because of this, first three rooms do not get the sun all day. We ended up in block 2 bigger room which is what we originally paid for but the sun does not get to your swim up until 2pm, no problem for us we sunbathed on the other side, however there is not enough sunbeds on there to accommodate the people who wanted to do the same thing. I come from a Corporate Hotel background and the lack of uniform amongst the staff was unprofessional, mainly because you had no idea who was the workers especially housekeeping, I think wearing a uniform makes you stand out and looks like the right people are going in and out of rooms, picky I know but you honestly had no idea who was who, same in the restaurant, I just thought it was a scruffy look. No bar to sit at, I agree with the other reviews, sitting in a restaurant to have a drink was not very appealing and just put us off drinking there. The pool bar was lovely but closed by 6pm, it would be a good idea to create that as an outdoor area to drink at night but everything seemed a little disjointed. In my opinion, this should be advertised as Apartments to rent, as the hotel element lacks facilities to entertain and therefore you are forced to go to the seafront where the bars and restaurants are. Our pool in block 2 was dirty, we did swim and yes it was cold but it is good to cool down but the pool attendant (jeans and t shirt man) only picked leaves out of the pool and not actually get in and clean the floor which in places was green, and again the health and safety of dirty water can cause major health issues. Again the season was coming to a close, so the lack of attention started to show and this was disappointing. I don't think we will return, there are lots of things that need to be done to make this more appealing and get guests to return, it is a long journey as well, 8 stops going to the hotel and it took over 2 hours in a coach that again looked not fit for purpose. I will always give an honest review, it is a nice hotel, the rooms are the selling point with the lovely pool scent, but cleanliness issues need to be addressed and attention to detail is a must. Most staff very friendly but when they ar

Myself and my boyfriend have just returned from a one week stay at Anna Island and we honestly could not fault it! We were a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews before arriving but our experience was fantastic from start to finish. We stayed in Block 2 which was a bit quieter and perfect for relaxing, but it was easy to move around the hotel to find sun or shade, peace or activity, depending on what suited us each day. We had a couple of days of bad weather but it did not dampen our stay. We had booked a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony so we simply relaxed and enjoyed that instead! Although Anna Island does not offer evening entertainment or a bar, their sister hotel next door does and guests are welcome to use their facilities both day and night. We spent every evening there enjoying the livelier atmosphere and entertainment (and too many Ouzo's - if you know you know!!!) Breakfast was consistently great. The evening meals were okay not a huge selection but we suspect that was due to the season winding down and the hotel being quieter so it did not bother us. The location is excellent just steps from the beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and bars if you fancy dining out or a livelier night. The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel. From the bar team to the servers and cleaning staff everyone was so friendly welcoming and genuinely lovely. They made our stay truly memorable. A special shout out to Adrian the entertainer who had us in stitches every night! He is an absolute gem and brilliant at what he does. Thank you to Anna, Pedro, and Costa, the wonderful family who run the hotel for making our experience one we will never forget, We have had the best time and are already planning our return next summer :) Alex and Ellie x

My experience at Anna Island. ????? A Slice of Paradise – It’s the People Who Make It Truly Unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we knew this resort was something special – but we had no idea just how incredible the experience would be. It’s not just the breathtaking surroundings, luxurious accommodations, or the pristine, immaculate facilities (though all of that is top-notch!) – it’s the people who made this stay truly unforgettable. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. There was a genuine warmth in every interaction, from the front desk to housekeeping – you could feel that they weren’t just doing a job; they truly cared about every guest. The owners and their family are some of the most down-to-earth, kind-hearted people we've ever met. They didn’t just run the resort – they were present, friendly, and made us feel like part of their extended family. That personal touch is something you can’t put a price on. The food? Absolutely exceptional. The restaurant is a hidden gem – every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The chef is a true artist, and their passion for food shines through in every bite. Whether it was a relaxed breakfast or a gourmet dinner, everything was cooked to perfection. Let’s not forget the pool bar staff – friendly, fun, and always ready with a smile (and a perfectly mixed cocktail!). It was the kind of service that makes you want to spend the whole day poolside, soaking up the sun and the good vibes. The entire resort was immaculate – every corner spotless, every detail thought of. It’s clear the team takes immense pride in maintaining such a high standard. We came for a relaxing getaway, but what we found was so much more – a place filled with heart, soul, and unforgettable hospitality. We will absolutely be returning, and honestly, it’s not just because of the beautiful setting – it’s because of them. Let's not forget the evening entertainment and pool foam party. It was incredible. Thank you to the house keeping ladies, the buggy drivers and everyone who made our stay so magical. Until next time. I will also write another review with names for recognition but I couldn't wait to write this heartfelt review now. With love to all, Ichchha

Just returned from a fantastic week at Anna Island. Decided to have a break & travelled solo for 1st time ever. From the moment I arrived felt so welcome & met the most amazing people, was never alone! There were a few minor issues with technical issues in room, but sorted & I think it was because the maintenance staff were still learning about the issues. Simple remedy for bright control lighting - take a sleep eye mask ????. I also took pegs & put them along the glass shower wall to hang towels & robe on. One important negative, be very careful when using Bali beds, I had a nasty fall & ended up under the bed, slipping on the wooden side step. Badly bruised, but could have been a lot worse. Spoke to reception & advised they should have an anti-slip covering for next season & to put up a warning for now (this didn't happen). Just didn't want anyone else getting injured. Irana & Anna - Pool Bar & the restaurant manager were fabulous & an absolute credit to the hotel ????. Restaurant Breakfast was excellent & the lunch & 2 evening meals I had there, quality. Ate at Amos on the beach promenade????? & Mikas in the Old Square, both excellent. Best beach bar still open was Blue Carpet Suites. Cocktails excellent & waiter service & an amazing Thai massage. Short walk from Anna or taxi €6. For an end of season stay & a new hotel could not recommend it more. Plus excellent weather ????. For any negatives, the positives more than make up for them.

I had an amazing 11-day stay at Anna Island Hotel! The pools are big and beautiful, the accommodation is spacious and spotless, and everything is so well maintained. The whole place has such a great atmosphere, relaxing during the day and lively at night. There were always fun events to join in on like Ouzo Bingo, Karaoke, and Quiz nights, which made the evenings so enjoyable. The staff were friendly and made sure everyone felt welcome. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! I honestly didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend Anna Island Hotel and would definitely stay again.

This for myself and my mother was a great experience. We travel alot (every 2 months) this was our first taste of an Adults only hotel with Swim up pools and Jacuzzi. We enjoyed every minute of it. Yes it was quiet and yes we had rubbish weather but it was the last week of the season so can't complain. You have to make the most of it regardless. The hotel itself was stunning, rooms were immaculate and spacious, Jacuzzi was divine, the swim up pools are such a great thing we honestly can't wait to try them again. Breakfast had a great choice, yes it wasn't that hot but in all the hotels we stay at you will never find a breakfast buffet that is. There definitely should be a microwave there for people to warm food up in cases like this. Maybe something to look at for next season. Apart from that the only other slight niggle I would say is for times when the weather is bad and your in your room the TV doesn't offer any English channels. This would definitely be a good thing as the majority of tourists are British. We will definitely return in a better season to experience Anna Island to it's best. I.e the sun, swimming, bar in the pool. All these little things are great just didn't get chance to experience all of this because the weather. Until next year Efharisto. Anyone has any questions about this please don't hesitate to get in touch **********************
