This is a wonderful place to stay in a beautifully restored Victorian mansion. The rooms are immaculate with antique furniture and very large. The bed was comfortable and even though it is in the heart of Portland I found it very quiet. The host was very friendly and the location is ideal - just a short work to cafes and shops. This was truly a unique holiday experience and I intend to return

Sitting here now in the old world sunroom. Looking at the garden. Warm and really relaxing. The upgrades make this old building a mix of true charm and modern amenties quite 5 star really. Lovely touches throughout too many to mention or spoil your surpises as you stay here. Various rooms within too book depending on your needs etc. Ours had all we needed and more... including kitchen very modern fully equipped etc. Close to town.Highly recommended Lovely place to be.

If you find yourself in Portland Victoria, stay at ANNESLEY House. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was beautifully restored and presented, a truly luxurious home away from home. The apartment is very well appointed and the owners have included many thoughtful details. There are detailed instructions for all the apartment amenities and recommendations for places to eat and drink which were very helpful.

Magnificent self contained accommodation. Stunning decor throughout . Lovely garden. Excellent location. Great host. Beautifully restored historic building in lovely Portland. A very reasonable price so spoil yourself - we certainly will again. The gold standard for others to aspire to .

Having travelled to Portland many times I have stayed in a variety of accommodation over the years. This time I was travelling solo and so wanted something in the centre of town close to everything. I also wanted to spoil myself with something more luxurious. Annesley House did not disappoint. The decor and furnishings were absolutely beautiful. The room had everything I needed with a kitchenette and a modern bathroom, large, king-size bed and views of the church across the road. I will definitely be back to stay. Although breakfast is not provided, there are ample cafes close by that serve delicious food.

Arrived after a long day touring the south West coast. Excellent communication with hosts, lovely room which well furnished and very impressive. Room was super clean, warm and the bed was awesome. Would recommend to all. Very close to town with only minutes to everything

Had a wonderful stay here. The place is exceptionally clean and Tony available for any needs. Loved the history of the place and how close it is to main shops, foreshore and restaurants. Only suggestion would be to update TV to smart TV! Enjoyed the little extras such as the coffee and biscuits
