Location to town is walkable easy and felt safe. Breakfast and service is excellent. I was totally disappointed in the bed , lumpy. Tv has issues and frustrating to use.

The property is a former church converted into a B&B! Host and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. A few blocks from the center of town but still walkable. On-site parking was a plus. Slightly on the pricey side. Television and hot water for showers were tempermental

Stayed 3 nights, a great location within easy walking distance of Bar Harbor. Bob and his staff were great, very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfasts were fantastic, and wine and cheese were set out in the afternoon. Would highly recommend.

Staff, location and parking were all great. The accommodations were clean and fairly comfortable but could use an update - rather dated and general TLC / maintenance needed. For example in Old Barn room shower curtain rod was not affixed to wall, missing light bulb and missing handle on dresser drawer, etc. The food was OK and appreciated them providing to go for early hikes. Bar Harbor is expensive and this was one of the more reasonable options.

If you are booking on Expedia/Orbitz and there is a fully refundable option, make sure to check the cancellation policy. Because even though Orbitz states 'fully refundable', the hotel will still charge you $25 to cancel ... even if you cancel 1.5 weeks after you make the booking, for a reservation more than 2 months in advance (where they have already rebooked the room anyway .. and you had to call them 2.5 weeks after cancellation to see where your refund is). I have been using Orbitz for over 15 years and when a hotel is fully refundable, there has never been a cancellation fee charged. I obviously did not check the hotel website this time, so this is just an FYI for those guests who truly want a fully refundable option.
