We loved our stay at Apu Lodge! We had plans to stay one night before the Inca trail and I had mistakenly booked the wrong day, and Karina was amazing to find a solution to accommodate us despite my error. The property was quiet and beautiful and in the most charming part of town. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and the showers were hot! As recommended, the second floor balcony was a beautiful place to sit and read/relax! In addition, Apu helped us coordinate transportation from Cusco and had someone meet us to help with our luggage when we arrived, and set out an early breakfast before we left on our trek. They truly go above and beyond!

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting: in the middle of garden full of flowers and fruit trees right next to the mountain. Very close to the center and ruins but more on the outskirts of town, so very tranquil, with the sound of the water streaming through the canals. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I loved my stay at Apu Lodge and would recommend it to anyone! The best part was the people who worked there - they were so helpful, from preparing me breakfast when I had to leave very early for a trip to Machu Picchu, to carrying my luggage down to the main square for me. The room was nice and the place was very peaceful. The location was also very convenient to feel slightly out of the main areas but still within a short walk of everything.

Apu Lodge is an oasis at the edge of the quaint town of Ollantaytambo. Its grounds are filled beautiful flowers, birds, and vegetations. Hundreds of different flowers line the walls and walkways. We enjoyed the chatter of birds and the floral beauty each morning begore breakfast We stayed in a family room with 4 beds. It was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had a great shower. All were very clean and tidy . The staff were welcoming and accommodating. They provided a daily cooked to order eggs breakfast with cereal, local fresh bread and fruits. In addition, they offered us hiking poles to use on our hike up to the ruins behind the lodge. There is tea water and filtered water, as well as coca leaves available 24/7. While the initial walk seemed far from the square, (.3 mile) along a cobblestone alleyway, but the staff carted and lugged all of our luggage to the lodge. That .3 mile actually provided a welcome respite from the noises of town- a beautiful tranquil setting. Plus, we got our steps in easily. I HIGHLY recommend this lodging for a stay in Ollantaytambo. I wish we had more time to stay longer.

We had a lovely stay here. A wonderful, relaxing two-day stay between Cusco and Machu Picchu. The staff was fantastic, especially Leo. I hope I get a chance to visit again.

We had a good experience at Apu Lodge. While it isn't a luxury hotel, the price was right for the area, the room was clean, the staff was super friendly and accomodating (transported our luggage to and from the town plaza), the breakfast was adequate, and the beds were comfortable. We chose to have a family room since we like extra space and the room was huge. Pleasant garden like setting but a bit of a walk along cobblestone walkway to the hotel (if you have any mobility issues).

Apu Lodge is in a wonderful location, with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was wonderful with options for cooked eggs, granola, bread and jam and a wide variety of local fresh fruits. I highly recommend.

The place is great! It is in a calm street, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, shower is hot and with great pressure. Breakfast was delicious. We had a nice view of the Fortaleza. But the best thing ever is the staff: they are very kind and helpful. I do recommend this place.

This place is a hidden gem. Our family of 5 stayed in the family room very comfortably. The staff is amazing, super hospitable going the extra mile to make our stay great. They arranged safe transportation, tourist advice, had breakfast ready for us at 5am for an early train ride, etc. The lodge is beautiful and has a big beautiful backyard for kids and grown ups to play. We would be recommending Apu Lodge to all our friends coming to Peru!
