nice hotel with good ocean view and overall cleainess is good.

We first stayed at the Ardo the week it opened a few years ago. We were informed that it was running on a “soft opening” capacity and that some services wouldn’t be ready. We have since stayed a few more times over the last few years and it does still feel like it’s not operating at full capacity. The rooms are nice. But you have to go next door to The Ville hotel to get breakfast and the rooftop restaurant doesn’t open until 2pm. The pool is lovely and the design of the lobby and the rooms is very slick and feels very 5 star. But the lack of 5 star hotel facilities is a major problem for me and I’ll unlikely stay here again.

The view from our room was fantastic and the pool was amazing. Cocktails in an infinity pool with a view, what’s not to like!

I really like this hotel. I’ve stayed a couple of times, the first time I stayed here was a week after it opened so a lot of of the facilities and capabilities of the hotel were not yet fully operational however the pool area is possibly the best in Townsville and the staff and Design of the hotel were top notch. I recently stayed here again a few years after it’s opened and the hotel is still top-notch. Everything works very comfortable. Great design. My only comment is that you need to walk to the next property at The Ville to get breakfast which is a bit disappointing but not the end of the world.

It’s nice and quiet, and pretty comfy, but there’s still a bunch of hair on the floor, and it doesn’t look super clean. The staff seemed a bit confused with the info, but it’s all good. Just don’t expect five-star service, that’s all.

Brand new and right next to The Ville with plenty of bars and restaurants, however staff not helpful when aircon in room not working, especially with the North QLD heat
