Luxurious,spacious rooms with top quality amenities and beautiful water views. About 15 -20 minutes from the town of Oban and no restaurants near the hotel.

Magnificent view over the Loch
Nice place, with a magnificent view over Loch Creran. Convenient room with nice bathroom, although a bit small. Parking available next to the property. The nearest city with restaurants and shops is not in walking distance.

Beautiful b&b. Very clean and minimalistic. Well equipped. Quiet location. Beautiful area. About a 20 minute drive to town. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious. Mattress was very soft for me (only con). Most people would love it.

Great scenery,lovely facilities. Propriatress a bit hovering and bossy for the price. Do not stay if you have scent sensitivities.

The property itself if new, clean, and well decorated. The owner/operator Karen is very clinical and lacked warmth. Her interactions with us felt very transactional. There are a lot of cosy and warm and welcoming B and B’s around. If we comeback here, will be looking for another place to stay

Das gebuchte "Executive Zimmer, Meerblick,27m2" gibt es vor Ort nicht! Hier: Superior Zimmer lt. Homepage. Sauber, leider festmontierter Duschkopf in der Badewanne (Bereitlegen einer Duschhaube w?re hilfreich gewesen). Besondere Grünteebeutel (bzw. überhaupt welche) und besondere Kekse im Zimmer habe ich bei dieser Kategorie (5Sterne) vermisst. Kontinental Frühstück, kein K?se. Für 25GBP besteht die M?glichkeit aus 12 warmen Gerichten sich durch ankreuzen am vorgefertigten Zettel (Abgabe am Vorabend), eines auszusuchen.
Der "Smoked Salmon Bagel Platter" ist ein aufgeschnittener getoasteter Bagel (wenn man Pech hat wird er verbrannt serviert) mit Philadelphiak?se und einigen Streifen von ger?uchertem Lachs. Die "Scottish Platter" ist ein Würstchen, Schinkenspeck(?), 2Eiern, Tomate, Hash Brown. Ob, beides in Summe 50GBP wert sind, darf jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Wie manche Vor-Kritiker schon bemerkten, stimmt auch für mich, hier das Preis-Leistungsverh?ltnis nicht. Am Schlimmsten war für uns aber der Zwang, dass alle zahlenden Kunden um genau 9 Uhr am Frühstückstisch zu sitzen hatten (Kindergarten-Regeln), erst das Müsli zu essen hatten (wenn man es wollte), und dann gab es erst das bestellte warme Gericht. Schlimm war auch die aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit und die nassen oder gegelten Haare der Hausdame. Insgesamt, eher ein unsympathisches Ambiente. Schade.

My husband and I stayed at Ardtorna for one night on our visit to Scotland. The property was very clean and had lots of high end touches and finishes. To me, the bed was very comfortable, but may be too soft for some. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful.
We did feel a little bit like we were intruding on the property. When we checked in, we had to walk right through the kitchen where the host was cooking to get to our room and our room was directly above the kitchen. It was quite loud in the morning and evening with food preparation and we found the noise really carried.
We also found the room to be quite small and stuffy - very little airflow. You couldn’t really open the window without opening the blinds, which made for a very bright morning.
Overall we were fairly happy with our stay, but personally I think it was overpriced for the size of the room and us being woken up before 8am.

The individual cabin was lovely with beautiful views and everything we needed for a cozy get away. Cabin was equipped with everything you could think of.
Thoughtfully put together property off the beaten path .
