A great place to stay to visit my Daughter who is at UEA studying medicine. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to Norwich. Only thing that detracts slightly for me is if you have a bigger car, ie like me an Audi A5 the parking doesn’t quite work. There are options to address that in gypsy lane so long as you are aware of that as a visitor then all is good - would recommend. Still a 5 star despite that.

Was very clean and had all those little extras like tea and coffee, hair dryer. Bed very comfy. Shower nice and hot with shower gel, hand soap and body lotion provided. The only problem was it was in the middle of nowhere a bit. Wasn't anywhere to walk to to eat. Even the local pub didn't serve food. Ended up getting a sandwich from local shop. Was a bit noisy but you expect that from a busy city.

Staff were brilliant. Breakfast was lovely. Location great for a run at Eaton park. Bedroom was cost and the bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean. Had a really good night in Norwich made better by a great place to stay.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Relaxed, comfortable and welcoming in every sense from the moment we walked through the door. Everything we could have needed and more was provided. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, with lots to choose from and differing dietary requirements catered for no problem.

we had a lovely stay at this quiet,warm and cosy lodge. no thrils accommodation but clean and tidy with good parking and location. good bed and clean linin.hot water tv,coffee tea etc etc. would highly recommend to any body on a budget and would definitely stay again

We booked here to attend our daughter's graduation at UEA. Me, my husband and our son stayed in the blue room and it was beautiful. The room was huge with a massive four poster bed, a single bed and a sofa. The beds were incredibly comfy and the owners were very accommodating in providing non feather bedding. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were provided in the bathroom. A good selection of tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate were supplied along with bottles of water and a mini fridge. We were also given a jug of fresh milk on arrival. As our daughter has decided to remain in Norwich, we will most definitely be returning each time we visit. Due to the current food price hikes, the breakfast is now continental but the choice was more than enough: pastries, yoghurts, fruit, cereals and freshly cooked toast.

We stayed in the Gold room and the Green room, as we were attending graduation days at UEA. The owners were lovely and really looked after us. The rooms were a very good size and the beds were really comfortable, we all had a great nights sleep. Fantastic breakfast which was included. Would highly recommend and definitely going to book again. Real pleasure staying here.

This was by no means the cheapest B&B we booked, but it did not live up to its price. We had told the proprietor what time we would be arriving but they were not there to greet us or give us any information on where to eat locally. Although it was an incredibly hot spell, there was only thickish duvets on the bed - no sheets so sleep was quite uncomfortable. Our bedroom was very noisy from passing traffic until the early hours. We still didn't meet the owners at breakfast time either.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary, we were in the blue room, lovely spacious room, nice and quiet, we were offered fresh milk on arrival and tea, coffee, biscuits and 2 bottles of water were supplied, Lovely clean b&b, we had a beautiful nights sleep, comfy bed and gorgeous pillows, only issue was, all electric in our room went off at midnight and came back on at 7am? Not sure if it was turned off or just a power cut (unlikely power cut as the hall lights were on all night!) but either way not ideal going to the toilet with a torch on our mobiles! After reading reviews on Arrandale Lodge, we were looking forward to a nice fry up, however, when we came down to the dining room, there was no mention of a cooked breakfast, not even for an extra charge… we were offered toast, but we then left to have a full breakfast elsewhere. Cereals, jams and a couple of pastries available, but not really vast considering the cost of the room. I would urge the owners to offer a cooked breakfast, even at an extra charge.

We had a wonderful stay in the Blue Room (#4) at the Arrandale Lodge! The room was very spacious and beautiful, and the bathroom was nice and clean. The building is well-built and we rarely heard any noises from other guests. It is conveniently located right next to the 26/26A bus routes. The manager gave us wonderful breakfast and dinner restaurant suggestions as well. Our room was away from the main streets so there was very little outside noise as well. We did not eat breakfast there as we preferred to sleep in, but the breakfast room looked nice.
