On arrival we were told be had been given a beautiful room huge bed sitting room and large bathroom with clawfoot bath. Beautifully clean.

Very disappointing stay, room was tired, not cleaned for our 5 day stay. No toiletries provided. Towels hard, shower didn't work properly. Room very tired. Breakfast had no choice, cooked or continental. very underwhelming. Car park was hard to navigate and dangerous to pull off the drive. Nicola who worked at the B n B, was the only good thing about the stay. Torquay was very run down too.

Amazing place, really large rooms with separate lounge area and lovely bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Thanks for a lovely stay. We will be back again. Mick&Jill

Had a lovely 3 night stay. Fabulous service, good location and very clean and spacious suite. Was lovely to have a separate room to relax in. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

It was a very nice experience. The view was fantastic and the location was very easy to find. The owner was super helpful. Really love this place and hope to visit here again. I'll give a 10 out of 10!

Beautiful room. We stayed in the gothic suit. I have a gluten intolerance and the host was their with option for breakfast as soon as we arrived. Truly lovely place

Grace made us so welcome . The Delux suite was fabulous. Beautiful furniture, a sumptuous bed and she served a tasty breakfast each morning. The hotel is full of character and we had so much space in our apartment with a comfortable sitting room , large and spacious bedroom and delightful bathroom all with lots of interesting antique furniture and artifacts. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. The weather in Torquay was glorious . Thanks so much Grace. ( Yvonne & Nigel Swan from Wales)

A warm welcome and some very kind help when my husband decided to throw himself up the last three steps to the entrance!! We had the Gothic Suite, which included balcony space, and we found it more than adequate. The bed gave our one at home a run for its money in comfort, and we enjoyed a restful few days. A couple of warnings: the ramp up to the car park is very steep and you need to position your car carefully so as not to scrape the underside; there are steps leading up to the sloped path to the entrance, which is at the rear; and the road is quite noisy twice a day which is to be expected. If you're relatively fit, the walk to and from town is not too bad at all, and your suite is a lovely place to return to.

Lovely comfortable suite, very quiet. Lana was great - couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. Very clean, car parking was interesting when all the rooms were full, quite a slope to get in and out! Nicely located, uphill walking back after a couple of drinks!

Was lovely hotel, more of a bed and breakfast though, was great location, one comment I would mention though is the lady running everything seemed overwhelmed by workload everyday for breakfast we got a different experience, unfortunately as lovely as she was i felt like being in the catering industry I wanted to help her which is not a feeling you want on a holiday, I felt sorry about the situation. The king suite definitely needs some tlc there were areas of damp. The breakfast was made well but felt it was never fully set up it was almost as if by 3rd morning it was comical of what would be missing from the table or plate.
