A family run hotel. Extremely friendly. Rooms were spacious with large modern bathrooms. They recommended a beautiful restaurant and drove us there. They were willing to pick us up afterwards, but the weather was lovely and the walk was mainly downhill (good on the knees) The daughter, Nur, was the best hostess we have ever had. A sweet smile that made you fell welcome and appreciated. The city center and Citadel are close and this is a great place to base your stay.

We stopped here on the way back from Geneva and needed somewhere to rest after driving 400 miles from Geneva that day. It's situated a bit of a walk out of town and the access road is a narrow track just off the main road with a turning area at the top to park your car. It overlooks the railway with the Canal behind As we arrived we were informed that the owner had tried to contact us in case we wanted an evening meal. We were unaware, having been in the car all day. We chose to stay for evening meal and pay the extra and we were presented with home made Cheese Croquettes, followed by. home made dumplings and Dauphinoise. Followed by dessert of home made Creme Br?lée. They had some soft drinks and I had a couple of beers which again incurred a small additional cost. Our room was on the first floor and with a rather unusual layout because we had two bedrooms but the shower and loo were in the middle of them, so if you wanted to use the loo or have a shower you had to ensure that the doors at each side were closed for privacy. The shower was overhead with a large area to stand in and the most simplest thing to use, because all you had to do was press a button. One downside was that the single room, which had two single beds in it, had a lack of plugs to charge your essentials. In the morning we had breakfast, in a separate room from other guests who were staying there, probably due to space and not being able to fit everyone and their tables into the same room. We had a choice of warm fresh crusty rolls, probably home made, cereal, cold meat and cheese, fresh fruit, home made yoghurt in small jars, home made ginger marmalade and freshly squeezed orange juice. I had some coffee too. It was a Gourmet's delight. The hosts were very friendly and chatty and the lady of the house "can really cook" and the food was some of the best we have ever eaten at a hotel of B&B when we have been abroad. My wife only found this place as a last resort because we originally intended to drive to Brugges. However, what a find. It may be a walk from the centre of town, but who wants to go there when you have food like this available. First rate place and excellent value for money. Definitely a place to visit again and one to recommend to your friends.

Hi Helen & Paul, Thanks for your great feedback & score! Some additional explanation from us: we have only family rooms. One room has 2 bedrooms with the bathroom in the middle. So the whole family has privacy ;-) When there is a lack of plugs, you can call us for more, we have many additional sockets. Hope to see your again! Valérie & Bart

Waar beginnen?! Het pand: een heel smaakvol gerenoveerd herenhuis dat de details op orde heeft. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen en van de nodige informatie over Namur voorzien, in het Nederlands. Mooie en ruime kamers, goede bedden, zeer propere en aangename badkamer. We misten misschien wat meer verlichting in de hoofdkamer maar een drama was dat nu ook niet. Het ontbijt was heel verzorgd met zelfgemaakte yoghurt en confituur, versgebakken pistoletjes en chocoladekoeken. Parking bij de deur en wij gingen wel degelijk te voet naar Namur, maar 1 keer per dag over en weer was wel voldoende.

Some way out of town so your own transport is absolutely essential. Splendid view over the town. Large comfortable rooms with a big bathroom and recently refurbished. Charming and helpful hosts. Copious breakfast.

Top B&B, mooi gerenoveerd herenhuis. Superkamer, boxspring bed, aparte badkamer met alle voorzieningen. Extra aparte eenmanskamer. Ontbijt was ruim en goed. De gastvrouw maakte 's avonds een heerlijke driegangenmenu klaar (een paar dagen voordien werd onze mening gevraagd aangaande wat de pot schaft). Rustige locatie op slechts 2 km van centrum Namur. Veilige private parking voor de deur. Koffietje bij ontvangst en leuke tips van de gastheer. Kortom top.
