Been coming to this lovely caravan site for nearly twenty years. So peaceful with beautiful views over the wetlands and the river Exe. Caravans are a bit older but spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly and any problems are quickly sorted. Plenty to do in the area, especially recommend the Seaton Tramway and the nearby donkey sanctuary. Highly recommend.

Stayed 5 - 12 July 25. We arrived at 12.15 and out pet friendly caravan was ready which was especially good as heavy rain was forecast. The site is small very clean and tidy and during our stay very quiet, the caravan was also very clean containing everything needed, there is a £ meter for electric IE fire, lights and fridge cooking and shower are gas which is included in booked price. There are lovely views and an adjacent path to town which is a 15 minute stroll. The lady in reception/shop was very helpful, had a very nice stay visiting Beer, Salcombe and Lime Regis by bus.

Wonderful peaceful park. Caravans clean and very comfortable. As duvets are not supplied we took our own. We were so lucky to have a wonderful view over the valley towards Axemouth. Nice little shop that had all the basics . Friendly staff. Would highly recommend

What can I say? The site was so neat and tidy. My wife and I arrived just before reception closed. We hadn't booked but the lovely young lady at reception said no problem. We have a choice of caravans. You can pick the 'van you want and advised us on the best position with the views over the wetlands. Peace and tranquility. Was really happy with the cleanest of the'van. All of the staff were really kind and helpful. This is one site that I can give 100% recommendation to. No clubhouse on site but Seaton FC club next door allows outsiders in.

Well-kept caravan park, nice and quiet. Very accessible to Lyme Regis, Beer etc. Gripe - we hired bedding which was sheets and pillowcases, very old-fashioned. We had to make our beds on arrival which consisted of blankets. I was concerned about whether or not the blankets were freshly laundered for each rental. You have to ***** the beds afterward and leave the sheets in a bag. My other gripe is having to pay for the electricity for the caravan with coins. Whilst it didn't cost a lot it is annoying having to change money before you go as you can't pay by card. I would recommend including electricity in the rental price and investing in duvets and quilts. This is the reason I have given 3 out 5.

Great little campsite without all the noise of the larger chains. Very Clean caravans. Always a relaxing stay. Flat easy walk into Seaton town. Really helpful staff. You can arrive and leave any day if the week, super flexible and helpful.

This is our first trip back to Axevale since COVID pandemic, so wasn't sure what changes we might see. Sadly our first impressions weren't great of the caravan allocation as we were given a dog friendly caravan even though we had no dogs. we were sadly overwhelmed by the smell and unclean state of our caravan. There was alot of mould present in the toilet, bedrooms and windows. Shower heads posed a TWV Legionella risk so we bleached our the shower head on the first day and was shocked by the amount of black mould that came out. Very unpleasant! The carpets were dirty and the floor hadn't been swepted or cleaned since previous guests. No mattress or pillow covers, and the blankets were very dirty and smelt unclean. We ended up buying our own cleaning materials and spring cleaning everything as no one was in the reception area like previous passed visits when the owner was still running the site. There's a sparse presence of staff onsite, not like previous visits to the site. Which btw were always positive in the past. Parking is a massive issue as the bays are too close and other guests are not so considerate of people's cars and would bash doors into your vehicle. it's a free for all....I would recommend access driveways outside each caravan to improve this situation. Seaton Town has sadly declined since COVID and alot of local businesses have closed down and East District Devon Council have poorly decided to close the lottery funded jurassic park by the tramway but agree to build ugly new houses across the full length of the coastal scene on the river axe which had formerly given tourists and residence beautiful breath taking views of the sea. I think this was one of our biggest disappointments. The much loved co-op was gone and a building site for a new Aldi in its place. We have personally come to this costal holiday Village for the last 25 years and I think this decline will deter us ever returning which is a great shame. We come here to get away from the reality s of home and relax but this holiday hasnt given us that relaxation we craved.

Size of the caravan was slightly on the small side just glad there was only 2 adults and 2 dogs meter takes £1 coins and blankets for beds so take your own duvet but in a great location for sidmouth lyme Regis nice walks to seaton and beer don't forget the tram

Nice clean caravan. Joke charging for bedding only to find blankets no duvets no pillow protectors or mattresses protectors cringe factor 10. Laundrette lock early evening and opened late am. Bins locked for days.
