We truly felt at home during our stay. The owners are wonderful—very welcoming and incredibly helpful. They provided us with great tips and useful information that made our visit smooth and enjoyable. Their kindness and attention made our stay especially pleasant. The location is excellent—convenient and peaceful. During the day, we were easily able to visit the clinic, the mall, and the nearby bird sanctuary. Everything we needed was within reach. Highly recommended!
I had a comfortable and pleasant 5-day stay at Bay Tree and became very friendly with the pleasant and sincere owners, Fred and Renee. It therefore pains me somewhat to point out certain shortcomings of their guest house. The intention is, however, to assist in improving the place. Positives: Very friendly and welcoming hosts Relatively quiet room with quiet little fridge (room 7) Good mattress Beautiful garden and pool Two pool towels provided Safe parking Good security Well-situated, close to amenities Negatives: Weeks/months' dirt under bed and bed pedestals Weeks/months' dirt inside cupboards (too dirty to unpack my clothes) Headboard not cleaned for a long time Dirt on wall next to headboard Microwave handles/buttons and bed lamp switches extremely dirty Dirty table cloth Unsightly carpet off-cuts used as mats on bed pedestals Room and bathroom is old and needs renovation No 2-point plug provided next to bed (I used my own) Old (cheap?) coffee in dirty coffee holder in room No coffee/tea sweetener, salt or pepper provided in room No table-spoons provided in room Bedding worn/torn and needs replacement No hand-towel provided I got the one employee to properly clean my room on the first morning after my arrival and Renee kindly provided sweeteners, fresh coffee and a second coffee mug. The property owner was very welcoming. The ambience was good and clean. We travelled to process our visas and the location was a few kilometres from the VFS location. A very secure and serene neighbourhood.
What a friendly welcome by our host Renee. Rooms are spacious and have everything needed for our stay. Nice outdoor space to just relax. Breakfast was served at the time which suited us and was absolutely fabulous. I will return any time. Thanks Renee for a wonderful stay.
It was a very comfortable place with very helpful staff. They helped with information to get around in Pretoria. The breakfast was also nice. We recommend the place to people planning to travel to Pretoria.
The hospitality was excellent. The breakfast was just as good. Rooms was clean and tidy. Everything in the room was working. It is situated in a very good area and the premisses is well secured. We really felt at home. I just want to thank Renee and here husband for a wonderful stay we will definitely call again.
Our hosts Renee and Fred were absolutely amazing. Rene was at the gate with a warm welcome despite that i arrived very late in Pretoria (2:00 am). Renee was very caring and every morning she prepared all of us (10) a pot of tea or a cup of coffee. I really liked Renee's tea. My room was cozy and my bed was very comfy. Every morning i loved it when i was awaken by the sound of birds and a beautiful sunshine through my bedrooms window.. . IT WAS MAGICAL! I really appreciate both Renee and Fred's friendliness and caring.

I have brought various school boys and coaches to overnight at this wonderful, homely establishment. This is a perfect stop on our way from Sun City to Durban. The friendliness and the quiet serene environment is what the tired weary soul needs. Clean, upmarked rooms and great hospitality makes this a wonderful experience.
