Room was amazing, on the beach with the waves crashing. The place is immaculate, and walking distance to everything downtown. Will definitely be back.

Trevligt strandhotell i Carlsbaden. Vi firade v?r 15-?riga br?llopsdag och blev uppgraderade till ett rum med utsikt ?ver havet vilket vi verkligen uppskattade. Vi fick ?ven en h?lsning fr?n hotellet med lite godsaker v?ldigt trevligt. Hotellet k?nns fr?sch och fint. Fin frukost som ing?r. De har ?ven parkering men vi valde att parkera p? gatan d?r det inte kostade n?got. Enda smolket i b?garen ?r att min man gl?mde sin kavaj i garderoben och den hittades aldrig, mycket tr?kigt.

Love this hotel! Right on the sand, waves crashing in front of the deck. Just heaven. Breakfast is healthy conscious a delicious. Bedding is super comfy. Poolside and fire pits are very enjoyable and great ambiance. Staff is very accommodating and helpful.

Andrea and Kaiden (i hope i got his name right) ar the front desk were so friendly, helpful, and kind. Keith, the pool valet is so courteous, friendly and helpful! Thank you Beach Terrace for an awesome beach vacay.

Drop Off in Service Beach Terrace Inn is our favorite inn in Carlsbad. We've been a loyal customer for over 14 years. We love the convenience to the town, the beach. However, this past trip we encountered problems with housekeeping. They're definitely understaffed. We don't know whether it's due to the higher minimum wage in California or the increase in immigration enforcement but they had problems keeping up, We even had one day when there was no housekeeping, We had to go to the front desk to get fresh towels.

awesome property right on the beach. Pool located on the deck above the beach hit it as well. Guest can enjoy the fire pits along the pool. plenty of amenities to enjoy such as complementary breakfast every morning or your option to have breakfast in bed. The staff was always a text away and ready to help at any time. We also enjoyed writing the complementary bikes as we rode through Carlsbad Village. Which is walking distance from the hotel. We enjoyed your stay we’ll be telling friends and family about the property.

This is a beautiful hotel on the sand. Beautiful rooms, staff, pool area with fire pits, beach staff that set up chairs and umbrellas on the beach free of charge (but tip), delicious breakfast delivered to your door if you order. Been coming here since before it was remodeled 15 years ago . I have traveled extensively throughout the world and yet this hotel remains my happy place??????

A lovely boutique hotel right on Carlsbad’s superb beach, with amazing views & sunsets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, tastefully decorated and with all necessities. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and a new surprise each day. Beach chairs, umbrellas and toys are provided. Stairways between rooms, pool, & beach may present a problem for elderly or disabled (only one of the three buildings has an elevator). I recommend the rooms with ocean views.
