We spent a weekend here with our children and grandchildren and loved the place. The garden and games room are well equipped for all ages and the house is a beautifully restored Victorian property. My only concern is that a stair gate is needed for the back staircase, which is very steep and not suitable for toddlers. It was lovely to relax here in the evening in front of a roaring fire, though, and to watch the wildlife in the fields nearby in the mornings.

Berryburn. What a place . The house is just stunning . We booked it to get married at Gretna and it was a great base for all our family . Crammed with 3 fridges/ freezers . Washing machine and 2 dish washers . Was toasty and warm when we arrived with all the fires laid ready to light . I will never forget out wedding at Berryburn and will definitely be back ??

Berryburn is a beautiful property and perfect for families with children. Each room was unique and full of charm, and there was loads of space for everyone. The gardens are beautiful and kept the 8 children in our party entertained. It all felt really secure and safe. Climbing the tree house to see the passing trains was a highlight. We also loved the kitchen and had many happy hours cooking for our group. We'll certainly return.

We had a lovely stay for a long weekend with a group of friends. The house and garden are lovely and spacious. Loved our dinners together in the dining room of an evening with the log burner keeping us cozy. Would recommend and would definitely return.

Beautiful house . We had a lovely family weekend away . Children had plenty grounds to play and they were amused with all the games provided . We enjoyed relaxing in the garden and having our meals in big dining room . Property is well equipped , so we found everything we were needing . Bedrooms are spacious and beds very comfortable.

Had the most amazing time celebrating our civil wedding with family. The house was clean and tidy upon arrival. The photos don't do it justice, the house is even more stunning in person and has so many interesting decor pieces. The gardens are beautifully kept and made for some lovely photos. The owner was very quick and helpful at responding to any queries too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Berryburn was perfect for our group - a mixture of adults and kids celebrating a 40th birthday for the weekend. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Set in beautiful, enclosed gardens, we felt comfortable letting the children run free. Between the garden and the games room, there was plenty to keep them entertained. Communication from Bradley, the owner, was 10/10. Would highly recommend.
