i had a wonderful stay at Bishop Hotel in Georgetown, Penang. the location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the UNESCO heritage area, within walking distance to popular attractions, street art, cafes, and amazing local food spots. it made exploring Georgetown so convenient and enjoyable.
the room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. perfect for relaxing after a full day of sightseeing. everything was well-maintained, and the bed was especially comfortable for a good night’s rest.
overall, Bishop Hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a centrally located stay with cozy, comfortable rooms in Georgetown. iwould definitely stay here again!

Rather bad experience. The room smelled like a stinky wet cloth during the day and there was a strong smell of smoke in the evening. I tried to talk to the staff about the smells but they didn't assist.
The worst thing is bugs. I found some worms on my towel (which, fortunately, I didn't use) and checked out immediately.
There is a kettle in the room but the plug doesn't fit in a socket (even with an adapter).
The only good thing - nice location. Oh yes, and free water.

The location of the hotel is okay as it’s really close to Sri Weld Food Court. The room itself is very basic in terms of amenities and only includes hand soap and shampoo. The room was somewhat clean and the air con worked well. However, the walls were stained with hand prints and could do with a paint job. There is also noticeable mold on the ceiling in the restroom. Overall, it’s an okay place to stay if you are just looking for basic bed, air con and shower and do not plan to spend much time inside.

Clean room and location is very convenient. Need to park either on the public road or 1 to 2 minutes public parking lot. The nearby ones are very expensive.

Sometimes there is loud noises outside the room from other customers. But overall is a good place to stay????

Good location of the Hotel. Trip to Penang are solely for food hunting. Both restaurant placed near the Hotel. Worth to stay and will come again soon.

The location is good. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly to help. The price is reasonable if you book with trip.com here. I am really like travel in Penang and stay in this hotel here.
