The only advantage of this resort is that all the water activities happen right here. So one need not travel afar! Asides to that, it is not a well-maintained place. The rooms need a makeover to make them more liveable. There were insects falling onto the bed from the roof, then powder of the wood, etc. Agreed I signed up for a stay in a jungle, but not to this level of falling insects. :) The location of the resort is excellent, right next to the Kali River. As mentioned, people come here for water activities. Hence, the entire day would be cacophonous. But from the evening after the crowd leaves, the serenity can be enjoyed. I was lucky to be there on a full moon day. Just sat by the river in the gentle breeze watching the moon rays in the river. The food was very mediocre. Given that there is no other option nearby, they should at least ensure that good food was served. But it was a big letdown. The staff was responsive and courteous. On the last day, I asked for egg curry and they honored my request. Even the water sports guides are well-mannered and trained. Overall, not a savory experience when compared with the other jungle stays I have gone to. Hopefully, they are going to improve.
