La atención del personal es verdaderamente excepcional. Gracias a Laura, Mambo King, Deimer, Jorge y a todo el equipo. No solo destacan por su amabilidad y sonrisas constantes, sino también por su atención al detalle y por encontrar soluciones inmediatas a cualquier necesidad. Nos hicieron sentir cómodos y cuidados en todo momento. Un par de ejemplos que nos marcaron: ? En una ocasión dudamos si habíamos elegido la mejor zona para descansar. Sin siquiera pedir ayuda, Laura notó nuestra indecisión y en segundos estaba junto a nosotros ofreciéndose a reubicarnos. ? Más tarde, estábamos cerca de un parlante cuyos bajos no sonaban del todo bien. Con apenas un gesto, Deimer lo percibió, habló con el DJ y lo resolvió al instante. Estos detalles, sumados a que siempre recordaron nuestros nombres, crean una experiencia muy personalizada. Además, viajábamos para celebrar el cumplea?os de mi esposa y la sorprendieron con un pastel de banano delicioso —un gesto que apreciamos muchísimo. Sobre las instalaciones y habitaciones, las fotos no reflejan lo hermosas que son en persona. Nos hospedamos en la habitación Pi?a y la experiencia fue fantástica: cómoda, equipada con todo lo necesario (y más), perfecta para relajarse. El room service también impecable. Un punto a tener en cuenta: la cena funciona con un menú sorpresa de tres tiempos y es la única opción disponible por la noche . Lo probamos la primera noche y, aunque la experiencia en general estuvo bien, sentimos que el plato principal y el postre no estuvieron al nivel del lugar, de la expectativa generada y del precio. En nuestro caso, consideramos hay mejores opciones en el menú durante el día.

Blue Apple in Cartagena was amazing —truly one of those rare places that gets everything right. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive and thoughtful, the kind that makes you feel personally looked after without ever being intrusive. Jao, Alexandra and Damen were particularly attentive. And the food… easily the best we ate in Cartagena. Every dinner was exceptional, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. We’re still thinking about those dishes! Our cabana, complete with a private plunge pool, felt wonderfully decadent yet surprisingly affordable, giving us the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. The day trippers don't really impact the experience because anyone who stays there gets first choice of beach cabana/lounger. And once they leave, you feel like you have a world-class resort to yourselves. Blue Apple is the kind of resort that sets a new bar and exceeds it.

Our stay at Blue Apple was a perfect marriage of luxury and natural beauty. The property is small with each bungalow in its own private space. The rooms were gorgeous, clean, and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. I loved the outdoor shower and all the luxury shampoos/ soaps/ lotion.
The service and food was incredible. We ate so well! The pool area is so comfortable and overlooks the waterfront, facing due west for sunsets. We also loved that the hotel was committed to fair trade and sustainable food and practices.
We would return again in a heartbeat. This is an experience that is worth every penny.

The food, facilities, environment, and most importantly, the service were incredible. The staff was the friendliest in the world. They were funny, danced, and had the best energy while working, which in the end was contagious. The locals were eager to show their culture and home island, which says a lot about the beauty it holds and the pride that this hotel has instilled in them.

I stayed at Blue Apple Resort and absolutely loved it. The cabanas are private, cozy, and beautifully designed — with comfy sheets, blackout curtains, and everything you need to unwind. They feel secluded and peaceful, though honestly, you’ll probably want to spend most of your time outside enjoying the beach, the pool, and the views. Everything on the menu was fresh and delicious — wonderfully seasoned with spices and sauces to die for. I’d go back for the food alone! The drinks and cocktails were fantastic, and the staff were all friendly, welcoming, and genuinely amazing. It’s the perfect spot to relax, eat well, and soak up the atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back.

Nice setting for short stay
Nice setting, worth getting a cabana. Limited to only food and drink from the hotel, surrounding area not suitable for exploring. Set menu for dinner is OK. Breakfast is good. Shared use of some facilities with staff detracts from the specialness of the resort.

I am just back from my second vacation at Blue Apple Beach and both stays were 5-star. If you want a chill and eco-friendly beach resort with incredible food, reasonably priced massages and easy access to Cartegena (boats run twice a day for ~$5) book here! This is a luxury resort in a sense that they're a B corp, you have everything you need in your cabana (like excellent AC) and Michelin star dining. If you're freaked out by amphibians, dislike boats (this is an island, you'll arrive on a small motorboat) or want everyone to speak perfect English, you may not love it here. If you enjoy island life, friendly cats and dogs (the resort takes care of them - they were here first!), eating the most local food (grown/raised/caught on the island) and chilling out, this place is the best!

This place is REALLY special. Blue Apple is completely committed to Colombia - its people, its environment, its history, and its future. A B Corp hotel (a luxury eco hotel beyond the beyond), everything Blue Apple does has purpose and meaning. But don’t think you’re skimping on anything - the whole experience is gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful, the service is impeccable, the atmosphere is a feast for the eyes - and the food! It is some of the best food in the world. In seven days I attempted to order new dishes from the menu and work my way through the offerings and never had something that wasn’t amazing. Shout out to Maggie, Luz, Alejandra, Jao, and everyone else who tended to our every need while we were there. It was hard to leave and I can’t wait to go back!
