Estuvimos 3 días sin televisión,insistí e insistí en q me solucionarán el problema pero no me hicieron ni caso. La terraza compartida que anuncian consiste en 2 mesas sucias en la calle en la entrada de 3 portales. En el ba?o había hormigas.
This review is for the property at Pecarica #6 (in the old town).
PROS: First and foremost this property is great for walking the whole old town and access to the City Wall. The room is clean and a helpful city map is provided as well as booklets on sights and restaurants.
CONS: If you are older and moving luggage please note that the photo showing the "entrance to property" is misleading. What is missing is the flight of stairs before you arrive at what the photo shows. The advertised 4 min. walk from the Pile gate is a bit longer and even longer when encountering crowed streets. The advertised "shared patio" is shared with non-residents who use it as a place to smoke, several times a day. Hence, the room has an odor of smoke.
ADVICE: Uber is much cheaper than a Taxi. They both pick and drop off at the same location.
I stayed in the main floor room at Booba Rooms for 4 nites. Although it was a bit weird to try and arrange to meet Jelena in Old Town and find it (luckily I had already been there a day before), both Bozo and Jelena were very nice and helpful. The location is really perfect - close to the Jesuit Stairs so close to lots of restaurants, outside squares but still tucked away and quiet. The room itself had lots of charm, great comforable bed and although the bathroom was on the small side, it was updated and had a nice hot, strong shower. The little kitchenette was great to get some breakfast items, and also had a little table to eat a small meal. Only small complaint or downfall, is that because this room was on the first floor, there was a terrace just outside the door which was wonderful, unless others were using it and talking loud right by your room if you were trying to have a rest. Over all, I had a great stay and would recommend Booba rooms and staying in Old Town
Lovely room right in the heart of the old town which was just perfect. Location was spot on. Quite a few stairs leading up to room we had a heavy suitcase wasn’t ideal, our fault hasn’t thought of this. In room there was only a thick pillow no choice for a thin pillow which is my presence. Room was clean and tidy well maintained. It had air con which was needed. They have a hairdryer too and fridge. The staff who met us on arrival was lovely and polite offered help when needed. It was useful to know there is a luggage place 5minute walk away you can store luggage if needed for €7 per bag. Useful as we had a late bus to catch.
