This has been one of the best luxury guesthouse experiences I’ve had in Pretoria. I would not only recommend you stay here but I plan to return after my hosts, Chris and Norma, went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. This guesthouse has clean, spacious, self-catering rooms with a separate entrance and en-suite bathroom. While at Brooks Cottage, I stayed in room 4, also known as ‘The Mahogany Room’; its beautiful wooden furniture did not disappoint. There’s a braai area, a sparkling pool, Wi-Fi, and breakfast available on request. Brooks Cottage is located in the safe neighbourhood of Brooklyn, and Norma and Chris give the best recommendations for exploring local restaurants and activities.

Brooks Cottage is a terrific place to stay while in Pretoria. Beautiful and safe neighborhood; gorgeous rooms, a pool and the wonderful owners who welcome you warmly and take a real interest in you as a guest.

You can’t do better than Brooks Cottage if you stay in Pretoria. The hosts are fabulous and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotless. I can’t recommend Brooks Cottage highly enough

The owners, Chris and Norma, were amazing, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, neat, spacious and stylishly furnished. I would recommend this place without a bit of hesitation.

We loved our stay in the spacious amily room, which was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and blissfully airconditioned. There were thoughtful little touches throughout, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful!

Norma and Chris are excellent hosts, providing comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast, and plenty of good recommendations and conversation. I have stayed at Brooks at least ten times and would strongly recommend Brooks to anyone looking for a comfortable secure guest house at reasonable rates with excellent hosts.

Norma and Chris were wonderful hosts during my 5 day stay at Brooks cottage. My room was spacious with lots of amenities, and the secure grounds boast a pool, lovely veranda, and lots of birds. They serve a lovely breakfast, either just continental or with eggs and sides. They are also kbnowledgable of the area and can help with dinner plans.

Ein sehr sch?ner Abschluss unserer Südafrika-Reise im Brooks Cottage. Norma und Chris haben uns herzlich willkommen gehei?en (die sp?te Anreise aus dem Krüger Park war gar kein Problem) und haben uns wertvolle Tips für Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Das Cottage selbst ist ruhig gelegen, in einem sicheren Gebiet von Pretoria und das Zimmer war wundersch?n. Auch das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und auch die besonderen Wünsche unserer Tochter wurden berücksichtigt. Chris hat mir zudem geholfen, meinen platten Reifen zu wechseln und hat mir eine Werkstatt zur Reparatur des platten Reifens arrangiert. Wir sind super dankbar über unsere sch?ne Zeit im Brooks Cottage und werden bei jeder zukünftigen Südafrika Reise gerne wieder kommen. Viele Grü?e von Familie Schmitt aus Deutschland
