A big issue arose regarding the day trip we had booked to visit the castles. We had to leave the hotel by 6:15 a.m. at the latest because we had to be at the meeting point/coach at 6:30 a.m. We had called about this a few days before arriving in Bucharest and were told that they would prepare a packed breakfast for us to take with us. When we arrived at the hotel on October 24, we mentioned this to the receptionist and they told us that they would prepare it, we just had to let them know what time we wanted it to be ready for delivery. When we mentioned it to another colleague at the reception desk (Nikoleta) that afternoon, she told us that it couldn't be done but that she would try to see if she could arrange it. While we were talking, her colleague (Anuta P. [if I remember correctly, who is the Reception Chief, as she herself pointed out]) entered the hotel and, after being informed by the first colleague, without even looking at us, dismissively told us that nothing could be done. We asked her about a refund and she replied that it was not possible. Of course, we mentioned that we had already informed her by phone about this particular situation in the previous days, but again, in a very critical tone, disdain, and rudeness, she asked us to show her or write down the dates and times we had called because she insisted that the hotel had not received any calls from us. We showed her the calls and wrote them down on paper, but she still didn't recognize anything. She told us that the phone number was correct but continued to question us, implying that we were lying. The next morning, as we were leaving, she told us that there was a bag with toast and fruit for us. We learned that Ms. Nikoleta had arranged for the kitchen to prepare it for us, and we thank her for her efforts, as well as for acknowledging that the way we were treated was completely offensive. People are everything in communication, especially when it comes to hotel reception. So, if we accept that the reception manager never apologized for her unacceptable behavior, we discourage travelers from choosing this particular hotel because manners, good behavior, and respect are not negotiable. Another issue regarding the room's amenities is that the bathtub is quite high, making it difficult for someone of average height, elderly, or with mobility issues to get in. At breakfast (which was satisfactory), Iqbal was very polite and helpful. Every day he was very polite, smiling and asking if we needed anything.

For your money, this hotel was great. It definitely has an old European Charm to it as its decor and for show. But it has a great location, the room was huge, the bed was comfortable, and the staff, especially Nikki, was super friendly and helpful. It’s a short walk to old town, very close to where all tours pick you up, and has a bakery and pizza shop right next to it. Can’t beat it for the price!

Afsted p? en forl?nget weekend 8 mand.
Vi ankommer til hotellet midt om natten, og er ret tr?tte og vil egentlig bare gerne check in hurtigt og op og sove asap.
Men det synes receptionisten ikke var en god idé, det tog ihvertfald n?sten 45 min at checke ind, fordi hun skulle udfylde alle data fra vores pas, og der skulle underskrives et eller andet GDPR-crap.
Derudover skulle vi betale ekstra for to ekstra opredninger, det var selv om vi egentlig havde betalt en god sum penge for at f? 3 suiter.
Selve kvaliteten af suiterne var en blandet forn?jelse. Den ene var super fin og n?rmest flot, samt stor og hyggelig.
Den anden var s? grim og falde f?rdig, at tapetet var ved at falde af flere steder.
Det mest positive var at der l? et minimarked mindre end 1 min derfra, her kunne der handles 24 timer i d?gnet.

Nice rooms, but hidden fees
Nice and clean room. Booked 3 tripple room with 3 ”places to sleep” in each. When I checked in I was told there is only one bed and that we had to share it or pay for extra beds. Paid 125 US dollars so that we all could sleep.
Stay aware of their hidden fees!!!!

Nada que ver las fotos con la realidad al menos en la habitación que nos tocó.En el tercer piso,la # 338. No dudo que fuera hace 40 a?os un hotel espectacular por la dimensión de la suite.Pero todo era viejísimo y anticuado.Los cuadros rotos adornando la habitación.La terraza sucia y destrozada.El ba?o súper antiguo.Me picaron en la noche algunos bichos pues amanecí con ronchas Cosas buenas a destacar que está céntrico.Y el buffet es variado aunque el local es peque?o y como improvisado pero desayunamos bien. No creo que repitamos si volviéramos a Bucarest

Good location ...big room ....big toilet...currency exchange just below the hotel ....standard breakfast
Only negative was the reception staff in the morninv who was little rude

Staff are lovely and it's conveniently located right next to a metro stop but this is a very badic hotel. Rooms are big but amenities scarce. Water pressure was virtually nonexistent and bedside lamp didn't work. The room had two safes, neither of which worked. And there were no plugs near the bed.
