Nous sommes restés 2 jours dans cet h?tel et sommes vraiment ravis!! C’est un h?tel familial qui n’a rien à envier aux gros h?tels. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. Notre fille a été malade (juste avant d’arriver) et ils nous ont bien conseillés sur les activités tranquilles que nous pourrions faire afin de profiter tout de même. Ils proposent une petite balade de nuit dans le magnifique jardin pour observer les grenouilles ??. Les chambres sont de petits appartements avec des lits gigantesques, tout est propre et fonctionnel dans les moindres détails. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir si un jour l’occasion se présente.

I could write an essay about my unforgettable experience at Caba?as del rio. But to sum it up, this is an absolute 5 star experience. The treatment my family and I received was VIP all around. The private frog tour at night was such a special touch that puts you in touch with nature. Right behind the forest is a river that is so private and peaceful, you truly feel like you’re at a resort except surrounded by actual nature. Their breakfast package is a must. They make this to order from scratch daily and it’s delicious and very affordable, you won’t find quality and price nearby that matches this. Their room is so comfortable with a big layout and all amenities at your feet. Their attention to detail is unmatched. I ran out of toothpaste one night and they took it upon themselves to deliver a new one for me during a rainstorm. Leo, Rosaura, and Mairene are the dream team. They were constantly looking out for our needs and when we asked for low budget options for tours and sites , they went above and beyond to make arrangements for us. We felt like we were at a country club with service at our doorstep throughout. This personalized treatment minus the hefty price tag was a huge plus! I would return here in the future just because of how welcomed and relaxed we felt. 10 out of 10.

A wonderful family run hotel. Conveniently located just outside central La Fortuna. Very clean and well maintained, large room,with parking spot immediately next to it. Rooms located farther away from road will be quieter. Small but well maintained pool. Extremely friendly and helpful staff (most of them part of family which owns the hotel). They are clearly putting their heart and soul into this activity to ensure guests have an excellent stay Delicious breakfast served in cosy terrace opposite pool and near a mini jungle garden. Highly recommend

We chose Cabanas Del Rio based on all the great reviews on Google and we were not disappointed! The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming, the room was well equipped and comfortable, and the breakfast was perfect to fuel you for a fun and full day of activities. We especially loved the frog night tour on the property. They go out of their way to make sure everything is good with your stay. We liked that the hotel was a little ways out of the center, making it more peaceful location. Definitely would choose to stay here again should we visit La Fortuna in the future!

It was very clean and comfortable. The unit was stocked well. Nice coverd car parking for each room. The garden was fantastic and teaming with wildlife. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. All staff were friendly and personable, interacting with us during breakfast and sharing information about the birds visiting the property. The night tour is not to be missed. It is not so walkable to town, but a short taxi ride or drive and you're there. Close to attractions.

Très belle place, les chambres sont propres, très grandes et les lits sont confortables. Leo est très attentionné et l'ensemble du personnel est gentil. Le jardin arrière où l'on peut aller voir les grenouilles et les oiseaux est super! En plus le soir il y a un tour gratuit donné par Leo aussi pour observer les grenouilles. L'endroit est vraiment très bien. Nous sommes restés seulement 2 nuits mais nous avons adoré. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Las Caba?as del Rio ist ein tolles kleines Hotel mit bezauberndem Garten. Alle Mitarbeitenden sind überaus freundlich, haben gute Insider Tipps und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Den Garten kann man tagsüber selbst erkunden und Fr?sche und V?gel beobachten. Die Froschtouren am Abend sind spannend und informativ. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

En plus d'un logement très confortable et très propre, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la magnifique petite forêt aux arbres très divers et aux fleurs extraordinaires, peuplée de grenouilles, papillons et colibris. Leonardo offre à ses h?tes une visite nocturne passionnante,on sent qu'il aime partager son amour pour ce petit coin de paradis entretenu avec soin . Grace à lui, vous pourrez admirer plusieurs espèces de grenouilles étonnantes, et lui poser toutes les questions qui vous viennent à l'esprit, n'hésitez pas et profitez de son savoir ! Pura vida.
