My eight day stay with my partner followed a strenuous book tour through France, Germany and Austria which left me exhausted. I looked forward to staying at the Ca Della Corte, which had been highly praised by a colleague. Although we are still here enjoying the charm and comfort it offers, the praise does not do full justice to this hotel. Let me put it simply: it's a gem! Rarely does one find such a combination of unusual decor, helpful hosts, variety of breakfast offerings. One could write paragraphs on each of these. The effect would be to express my intention of returning to Ca Della whenever I return to Venice.

I had such a lovely 3-night stay at this boutique hotel! My room was on the top floor, it was a standard room, but both the bedroom and bathroom were surprisingly spacious and still felt cozy, with beautiful traditional Venetian furniture. The hotel has a charming, authentic Venetian atmosphere that I absolutely loved. Also it is so close to the train station and walkable to all the touristy spots. The manager Kate, was very helpful and always responded to my requests quickly. I highly recommend this little gem to anyone visiting Venice!

Abbiamo appena lasciato questo delizioso b&b, situato a due passi da Piazzale Roma( comodo per chi arriva in auto) e con ca 20 min di cammino si arriva a Piazza San Marco. Accoglienza, attenzione e pulizia ti avvolgono dal primo istante. Tutti gli arredi profumano di quella Venezia autentica ed unica che non ti aspetti. Colazione ricca che risponde a qualsiasi richiesta servita da una dolcissima signora. Ma quello che rende questo posto unico è il senso dell'ospitalità della proprietaria Kate e di suo figlio Niccolò...due veneziani doc che attraverso racconti e consigli permettono di comprendere ed apprezzare questa meravigliosa città! Quando la dedizione e la premura si uniscono all'educazione ed alla cultura non puoi che lasciare un pezzo di cuore qui...con la promessa di ritornarci presto...perché Ca' della Corte diventa un rifugio per grandi e piccoli ??

Our second visit to Ca'Della Corte. Again everything was perfect. Service excellent, nothing was to much trouble for Kate and Nick to arrange or sort out for us. I must mention the 'back up team' who were so bright and cheerful. We choose to have breakfast in our room (again) which was served very punctually and what a choice! Ca'Della Corte is perfectly situated within walking distance of Piazzale Roma and Campo Santa Margherita, the perfect campo to spend your evenings. We are already planning our next visit to Venice and can't imagine staying any other place than Ca'Della Corte.

We stayed at Ca’ Della Corte for 4 nights in early May and it was wonderful. The staff are all very kind and helpful, and the breakfast each day was lovely. It is also convenient to the train station, the vaporettos, and was pretty convenient to most of the tourist sites.

This isn't a fancy place but it is clean and extremely well located. Only 6 minutes and, more importantly with luggage, 1 bridge from the people mover where most people will arrive or depart. The owner had some great suggestions for restaurants.

Really friendly service, comfortable rooms and many complimentary items in the bathroom. They served a nice and customizable breakfast for 15 euros if I remember right. The location was perfect, which is 5 minute walk from the train station

This is one of my favourite hotel stays ever! The hotel is in a beautiful building, converted to use as a hotel. The atmosphere is like visiting a grand old home, our room had a table, large desk and baby grand piano. It was completely charming and comfortable, so beautifully decorated and cared for. There is a lovely courtyard and the people were wonderful, we were very well taken care of! And a quick walk to everything but quiet at the same time. I highly recommend staying here - I honestly wish we’d stayed longer.

We arrived at the b&b without any hassle, having checked how to get there on google streetview, with a warm welcome by Catarina stating that oh no! A guest left the keys in the door of our room! And the locksmith could only visit tomorrow. But she had a great solution, her friend close by also has a hotel and you can stay there for one night then we’ll upgrade your room. Sound familiar? We initially thought highly of this service, not questioning Catarina’s story until the last day when we tried to pay with credit card only to be told, only cash. My partner forced them to accept bank transfer. Left a bad taste in his mouth so I started thinking about the key story and how it actually sounded implausible, especially the way the keys and doors are set up. Checked TA and here we go, a long history of the same story except we got a new twist. This - together with the payment - put a damper on what was otherwise a good stay in a beautiful room. Catarina was so friendly to us, or so we thought. Breakfast was only ok but the cappuccinos were good and I appreciated the fresh fruit. Quiet location as well, close to Piazalle Roma and the train station. Catarina gives restaurant advice that is only partially true. Yes the restaurants she picks are good, but she also stated reservations wouldn’t be necessary - this isn’t correct. Make your reservations. I would have given 4 stars if it hadn’t been for the deceit and wrong advice. Disappointing.

Lovely B&B - Venetian style decor, cozy courtyard & delicious breakfast. This hidden gem in the heart of the city will make your stay in Venice a marvelous experience. Run by a traditional Venetian family who has been owning the historical building for generations. Love is in every detail : inside and outside each bedroom. The bathroom was spacious and cleanliness impeccable.
