The hotel is clean the staff friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast in your room is well supplied and although querky in a good way was a very pleasant suprise we were in a room on the third floor which although smaller then we were use to was able to have twin beds a bedside cabinet a large wardrobe and a breakfast table a fridge and chairs without looking overcrowded The shower and bathroom adjoining was first class. We will certainly use this hotel again

Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Excellent location for Stamford town centre. 5 min walk.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable and both my husband and I had very little sleep. I booked this hotel as it had a good write up for the food evening meal. Not open at all neither was the bar. Room although looked clean there were areas which a lot of dust was evedent blind and fan. For example. We left early this morning so my hubby could go back to bed where we were considering staying for 2 nights originally. We found hotel quirky and we solved the food issue by eating elsewhere but lack of sleep is a no no from poor quality bed.

Leaky ceiling, the smallest TV ever, no streaming available, electric heater instead of central heating, no heating in the shower, cheap coffee press and breakfast consisting of packaged items from the local Sainsbury’s. Not quite what I was expecting for ￡100 a night…

Albergo "pittoresco" ; arrivi e devi telefonare per farti aprire la porta.
Ambiente buio e stretto; scale larghe 70 cm... Nessun hotel in Italia potrebbe essere autorizzato. La camera era fredda e piccola; il calorifero spento.

The owner was there dead on the allotted time to let us in. Room was fine, worth the stay in an old unique building.

Clean and comfortable room. Very unique characterful restaurant with good food. Nelios hospitality was amazing.

Courteous welcome on arrival and please not stay. Everything I needed and would book again.

The owner greeted me personally. Very friendly. Let me choose a room. Even carried my bag from the car.
