Janet and David were caring, attentive and friendly hosts who warmly welcomed myself into their home. The facilities are great and they treated us to regular sweet treats. David's porridge is first class! They happily recommended local walking/running routes. After a long day at work it was lovely to come back to Carinya. I would come back anytime and would recommend to friends and family.

I stayed for a prolonged period as I was on placement in the area. Janet and David are lovely people and have a lovely home - they went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and I felt at home during my stay. Would highly recommend :)

We stayed here during the Hay festival. The hosts were so welcoming and kind to me and my daughter. It was like staying with family. They were knowledgable about the area and gave good advice about parking and where to eat etc. we enjoyed our stay and also meeting and chatting to the other guests.

Well done Janet and David, you are simply the best ! From the lovely comfy bed to the yummy welsh breakfast with all the trimmings, to the gorgeous garden to sit in and listen to the birds. But most off all to the lovely hosts you were. Thank you both for a lovely. weekend. Will deff. be coming back.
