An L-shaped single room with a shower and kettle corner. Basic but cheap and cheerful , warmed up room made the welcome even warmer. A cooked breakfast served by the friendly owners set you up for the day.

Great location close to parking and right opposite the station. Owners are a lovely couple and super friendly. Breakfast is amazing, lots of choice but the traditional full English is one of the best I’ve had

This was a great pick for us right on the edge of the center rob and belinda were excellent hosts friendly attentive and couldn't do enough for us the breakfast was excellent we stayed in the ground floor room which was onto the main road but once the window was closed no noise slept right through cleaned while we ate these two know how to provide a service I've read some bad reviews but for us we don't know what the problem is thanks for a great weekend if we are ever down this way again the carnson house will be are port of call thank you so much

Really lovely stay over night, hosts were welcoming and hospitality was great. The room was comfortable and had everything you would need. Perfect location especially for the train station, Will definitely stay again! Thank you!

The room is very old and the soundproofing is very poor. You can even hear the snoring in the next room when you sleep at night! The door of the bathroom is actually a board, and it feels like it will fall off if you push it hard! There is no sound insulation at all, it feels like taking a shower next to the bed! And according to our guess, the passwords for the door and each room are the same, which really makes us worry and difficult to fall asleep at night. The attitude of the male owner is very average. He is an old man. He has many rules and requirements. When my mother was sending a message on her mobile phone, he arrogantly signaled her to listen to his check-in rules, otherwise he would not tell her. In short, this hotel has nothing to recommend it. The breakfast is also very average. There is basically no optional meals to eat. Other hotels will prepare bread and the like, but this hotel makes me feel very shabby. The price is not cheap, the cost performance is very low, and the window faces the wall of the train station. It is very aggrieved. It is not recommended to stay here. The only advantage is that you can walk to the train station, but there are many hotels that can be chosen within a few minutes' walk from the train station. The cost performance is very low, the attitude is very average, and the breakfast and hardware facilities are not good. In short, it is not recommended to stay here.

We stayed at Carnson House for 4 nights. It is a very convenient location, just the other side of the Train station and Bus station. Even better, it has an unheard of check-in time of 10 am, which meant that when we got in on the morning train from St. Austell, we could drop off our luggage in our room and get out what we need to hit the road right away to St. Michael's Mount and Mousehole. Our room, facing the street, was amazingly quiet given that it is a main street and located next to a pub. Breakfasts had a variety of cooked to order options with as little or as much as you would like. The garden out front was very interesting. Our hosts were genuinely concerned with our welfare as visitors and when our tour company (Meneage Tours) cancelled without properly informing us on our last full day, they called and found out what had happened, and then phoned around and found us an alternative means of completing our tour with the local taxi company, Penzance Taxis. They literally saved our day! We can never thank them enough and would happily stay there again if in Penzance.

This is a quaint and ideally located guesthouse just across from the train station. Breakfast is superb and our room was immaculate. It is easy to walk from here to anywhere in town including a local favorite fish and chips takeout in a remote part of town (ask the owner). St. Michael’s Mount is a walkable distance, but make sure you time your visit at low tide. Also make sure you try a Cornish pasty at one of its several bakeries.

还不错，小酒店老二口经营。该有的服务都有还提供早餐，因此性价比高。离车站近去哪里都方便。缺点是房间比较小但也够用了。
