Elena kocht super und hat mir viel bei der Organisation meiner Touren geholfen. Saubere Unterkunft mitten in der sch?nen Donaudelta mit M?glichkeiten sch?ne Vogelbeobachtungstouren zu machen. Unter dem Dach der Unterkunft hat Jon Holzplatten befestigt. Hier nisten dutzende Rauchschwalben.

I highly recommend it. Properly equipped rooms, exceptional food, very welcoming hosts, excursions to Delta sites that deeply impressed us.

Knowledgeable and friendly guide-owner of Casa C?lin who showed us the canals, rivers, marshes and reed islands - including birds. Lady of the house is a hospitable and excellent cook. Enjoy home-cooked meals. Yummy home made butter, jam, cheese, honey, and loads.

I stayed here for 2 nights while touring the Danube Delta with the owner, John. John and Elena were very kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was plentiful and I certainly did not go hungry! One thing I would say is I must be a messy American when it comes to showering because there is no door on the shower and it was hard not to get the bathroom wet. I had this issue at most places I stayed in Romania so this was not unique to Casa Calin, just a heads up that if you are messy like me perhaps request an additional bath mat for the floor.

Mooie degelijke kamers met airco . Zeer leuke tijd gehad in casa Calin . John is de beste en sympathieke gids die je in Danube delta kan vinden . Geeft alle informatie over de geschiedenis en ontstaan van de delta . Weet alles over vogels etc . Ook doen ze alles om je het naar je zin te maken . Helena is zeer goede kok . Kortom genieten !!!

Three perfect days spent in Crisan at Casa Calin! The location is the best, between 2 channels: the big Sulina Branch and a small channel in the back of the yard. The food is great, vegetables from the garden and tasty fish, prepared by Madame Nuti. John and Ionut are the best guides, they never stop talking in the trips we made to discover the secrets of the Danube Delta. I came home with so interesting info on history of the place, on fauna and flora and even on vocabulary evolution.

Everything about this stay was incredible. The place itself is beautiful, the rooms clean and functional and the kitchen area cosy and social. However, the hosts were the main attraction. John and Elena were extremely welcoming, and made our stay all the more special. Elena's cooking and hospitality was fantastic, and John was the most wonderful guide. John was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to take us to the most interesting places. He was also able to speak English for our relatives who were also visiting from the UK. We were very impressed. Would highly recommend.

We spent four nights at Casa Calin while touring the Danube Delta. Elena and husband, John, run an amazing guest house. Sleeping rooms are in a new addition situated in a lovely garden. Each apartment has a private bathroom with modern shower and plenty of hot water. The beds are very comfortable with the right amount of linens. The large window lets in lots of light and fresh air. There is an air conditioning unit but I never needed it. Meals are served in a screened area off the main house. Food is served family style on large patters. Authentic Romanian food is a delight but Elena does ask if guest have preferences. We learned to just let her cook what she wanted to cook. Everything was great and healthy. Much of the food comes from her garden. Enjoy a boat tour of the Delta with Captain John. You're in great hands at Casa Calin!
