This is a gem ….we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The included breakfast was amazing.
The back garden was a delight and a respite to a busy day of sightseeing.
The staff were fabulous especially our dear host whose positive attitude and bubbly personality made our stay even more enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this property.

Une très bel établissement en plein c?ur historique . Chaque chambre est différente. Certaines plus sombre que d’autres . On fr?le la perfection. On regrettera que les cloisons soient mal isolées et qu’on entende ce qu’il se passe dans les parties communes . Petit déjeuner excellent avec de beaux produits . Une belle expérience .

This hotel was adorable. It's old, compact, and full of character and history. The staff was so lovely, welcoming, and helpful. The dining room and garden were very modern and inspiring and the food - notably the welcome cake - was incredible. We slept really well here (despite a little upstairs rumbling from a little one running around! Can't fault anyone for that considering how old the building is!). The location is perfect - right in the middle of things - a minute or two from everything - yet it was nice and quiet. We even walked from the train station, which was nice.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Modern with old world charm. Wonderful breakfast with fresh breads, croissants, cheese and so much more. Super friendly staff ensuring you have everything you need for a great stay. Next time I’m in the area this will be where I stay.

It had a Little Garden where one could sit and Read or Play cards with Friends. Had a very feel at Home vibe

Casa do Juncal enjoys an excellent location—perfect for exploring the historic center on foot. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, adding a warm and personal touch to our stay. The back garden is a beautiful, peaceful spot to relax, and the "you choose" breakfast was truly incredible—thoughtful, delicious, and a real highlight of our visit. However, there were a few details that fell short of expectations. I had chosen our room based on photos from the website, but it had since been rearranged and repainted. The biggest issue was the lighting. As the room has no direct windows, it would have greatly benefited from better lighting design—more like what was shown in the original room photos. The bathroom renovation also felt a bit awkward. The shower door only opened inward, hitting the shower head, which made it quite clumsy to use. Additionally, the shower leaked significantly, creating a pool of water on the floor that collected in the corner. Overall, Casa do Juncal has a lot of charm and potential, and with a few adjustments, it could offer an even better guest experience.

De vackra rummen med h?ga f?nster, luftiga gardiner, klassiska badrum, mysiga inredningsdetaljer, sk?na s?ngar och svalkande balkonger. Det vackra gemensamma k?ket gav inbjudande l?ften som infriades, om magisk frukost o f?r den som ville fanns uppfriskningar att k?pa. Tr?dg?rden bj?d p? sittplatser i gr?nt gr?s, svalkande skugga och mysig kv?llsbelysning. Utanf?r d?rren l?g Gamla stan med alla tr?nga gator, livliga torg o h?rliga restauranger. V?rt absolut b?sta boende p? v?r 3 v l?nga t?gluff i Europa.

Sk?nt sted midt i den gamle bydel. Smukt istandsat med respekt for bygningen. Sk?n morgenmad. Kommer gerne igen

Great little quite gem right in the centre of the historic town.
PS book at least 24 hours in advance as the host has to send you a code to get in if you are arriving after 2pm.
