This place is truly special. Howler and capuchin monkeys played in the trees just outside our deck. The views from the rooftop terrace of the ocean, sunrise/sunset and nearby thunderstorms were breathtaking. We bought fresh marlin from a local and made fresh ceviche in our well stocked kitchen. Alex (the caretaker) takes immaculate care of this beautiful property and his guests. Simply put, this was paradise to us.

This by far exceeded our expectations! The views alone are worth the visit. We had an absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean and surrounding forest area that made for wonderfully peaceful mornings. The pool had an equally wonderful view. We never encountered anyone else and essentially had a private pool during our stay. Inside, each room has access to one of the decks outside which made it easy to step outside and enjoy the wonderful view. The villa is about a 5 minute drive into town. We went into town and tried a different restaurant every night. We asked Johnson for recommendations and every single one was great! We got to do things like surfing, horseback riding, snorkeling, kayaking, and waterfall hiking while we visited. After our adventures, coming back to relax at the pool or the deck was the perfect way to spend a day in Costa Rica! You don’t want to miss this stay!
