Great birdwatching spot over Shannon Estuary with curlews and egrets visible through our window and the magical call of the curlews heard over the marsh. We also overlooked the ruined castle and climbed up the castle tower for spectacular views. The B&Ab itself is quite basic but clean, comfortable and warm with a great welcome from Samantha and a lovely breakfast with great tasting fresh ingredients. A wonderful spot for a stay on the majestic Shannon river.

La maison est un petit peu perdue mais le lieu est agréable même si nous n’avons pas eu la chance d’avoir la vue sur la chateau dans la chambre. H?te très prévenant, bon petit déjeuner, il y a eu un problème d'odeur dans la salle de bain mais ?a a été résolu rapidement

Das Haus liegt auf der flachen Insel in der Flussmündung. Einfache Ausstattung , aber extrem freundliche und bemühte Gastgeber.Unser Zimmer im Erdgescho? lonks vorne war in Ordnung, Bad ok, alles sauber und Betten gut. Das zuerst zugewiesene Zimmer ohne Steckdose am Bett im OG war sehr einfach. Das Haus ist ja recht günstig bepereist. Das Essen macht alles wett: Frisch, hausgemachte Kost aus eigenem Anbau, reichlich und mit Freundlichkeit serviert zu einem günstigen Preis. Spazierwege ab Haus, Str?nde in der N?he, günstig zur F?hre. Wir würden wiederkommen. Danke.

Welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Delicious evening meal and full Irish breakfast in the morning. Fantastic service. Delightful views over the castle. Super quiet location lying alongside the Wild Atlantic Way. Outstanding!

A really pleasant and welcoming environment. Owners couldn't do more for us. We felt a strong homely vibe the moment we arrived. Such a peaceful little island. The nearby castle is a must visit with its stunning views. Superb value for money.

B&B a conduzione familiare, a circa 15 km. da Listowel, direttamente difronte alle rovine del castello sul quale cè una bella vista dalle camere. A pochi km. da Tarbert, dove si può prendere il traghetto per Killimer. E' in posizione isolata e con poche stanze, piccole ma in ordine. Bagno piccolo ma funzionale. Titolari molto gentili ed ospitali. Colazione più o meno a richiesta, Irish breakfast o continentale con yogurt, toast e marmellata. Sempre a richiesta, si può anche cenare presso la struttura.

We arrived at Castleview and enjoyed the benches in the yard, and the rooms were clean and wonderful. The host and his wife are very friendly and asked about our trip so far. The greatest surprise was the next morning as we were leaving when the host made sure we knew we could visit the castle across the street and the neatest thing was he was the keeper of the Castle, so he unlocks it in the morning and locks it at night He let us go up in it and see the view. What a neat surprise!
