The Guest House occupies an enviable position in central Lincoln (as its name implies), close to many restaurants, the Minster, the castle and indie shops. Our room was quirky and quaint with exposed beams and a lovely seating area. The owners/staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.

Fab situation for access to the cathedral and castle and within easy reach of Steephill and all the lovely little independent shops and bars around! Big plus is the availability of parking!! Nice room with new shower room and superb breakfasts! All the staff we met were lovely, helpful and friendly.

Amazing location, parked in the b and b carpark and didn't need our car for our stay, everything is on your doorstep, beautiful shops and the cathedral is stunning, with the christmas lights up felt really cosy, the room are lovely and welcoming, the breakfast were fantastic stayed for 2 nights, would highly recommend ???? our first visit, but wont be are last . Thanks again.

This is our 4th visit to Cathedral View. It never disappoints. From booking to checkout, the communication is excellent. The hospitality unwavering. The accommodation is very clean and very comfortable. It's so conveniently situated for all of the sights.The breakfast is hearty and delicious, whatever your choice from the varied menu. We look forward to seeing you again.

An ancient townhouse at the top of steep hill and next to the magnificent cathedral …lies the little guest house. We were given a very cozy warm and immaculate room on the second floor. The weather was unusually cold and we saw a few inches of snow turning the area into magic. The lovely staff could not have been kinder …the breakfast was wonderful. Fresh eggs and meats to order served on lovely china…. My favorite was the toast on a toast rack! A full French press was delivered to the table as we sat down. The worst part was leaving.

Great breakfasts, well-appointed room and friendly owners and staff. A really convenient and historic place to stay, just steps from the Cathedral. We would definitely recommend.

Location was brilliant!! We could see the cathedral from our room. Its about 2 minute walk to the castle and then about a 8min walk in to the centre. Back up the steep hill. The breakfast was lovely! The host paul was welcoming! Brilliant weekend with my husband. Would stay again!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Cathedral View. Parking , although a little tight was a bonus and Paul was brilliant. at overseeing this . The building is old and has some of the quirks of an older building but that adds to the charm. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and breakfast and choices were excellent. It's in a great spot for exploring the 'old' bit of Lincoln aroiund the castle and cathedral

On arrival Paul was waiting to give us some guidance through the arch into the carpark, a bit of a tight squeeze but parking is a bonus. We were in room 4 at the front of the building with a view of the top of the cathedral and a king size bed which was very comfy, a big bathroom with a large shower. The room and bathroom were clean and warm. Breakfast was delicious probably one of the best we've had in a B&B, piping hot full English with toast and tea, service was great too. Location was great, a minutes walk to the Cathedral and castle, just be aware the guesthouse is at the top of Steep hill, you soon get your steps in! The only one negative for us was the noise from the street, we know the building is very old but the windows didn't close properly and there was lots of noise from traffic and people. Apart from that I would definitely recommend this guesthouse.

A totally fabulous gem in the hub of Lincoln close to the Cathedral, Castle and many quaint little streets and shops. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, the rooms to a high standard, incredibly comfortable and clean. Excellent value for money and free car parking at the guest house. The were no issues regarding noise, it was lovely to hear the Cathedral bells ringing. The service was outstanding and the breakfasts excellent. Everything we wanted to visit was within close walking distance - we will 100% return, we really enjoyed our stay.
