A beautiful stay in the middle of a tea estate with lovely food and amazing people. Spent lovely 2 days at the Retreat spoilt with home style cooked food, made to order, fresh guavas from the tree and bonfire to keep us warm. Reshap, Salim, Abhi, Manoj and Sushil went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to rejuvenate and recharge surrounded by stunning views and lovely people.

One of the wonderful place I have ever visited. Begining to the End It was a memorable stay. Outside the cuttage is seanic and quite seperated from all the chaos of the world. The room quality was 5 star grade super clean and classy yet modern. The place has wonderfully designed landscaped with a proud heritage of 6 generation of Tea garden estate. Food was nice and very well served the house has a very good chef. A must visit place to rejuvenate

Fantastic property in the midst of nature, very peaceful, nice rooms, Rishabh the manager was very helpful, the staff gd a special mention for Abi, Ganga & Salim. Food gd especially the barbeque they organised. No pollution , only drawback the distance from airport & few patches of road which were bad, it's advisable to come in groups as there is nothing to do but just sit back and unwind and enjoy the nature

Beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Very well managed. The staff are excellent, courteous and well trained. The food is great, well prepared and hygienic with a varied cuisine. Definitely worth a stay.

We stayed at this wonderful property for two nights post our Sandakphu trek in November 2025. LOCATION: Imagine sitting surrounded by tea estates, evergreen pine and cedar trees, meticulously landscaped gardens and lush green mountains coupled with either sipping what is known world over as Darjeeling Lingya Chamong Tea with its unique floral and citrus flavor or enjoying delicious breakfast, high tea and/or meals basking under the Sun or meditating or doing nothing. You are bound to be at Chamong Chiabari Mountain Resort. Daarjeeling in this region on account of its soil composition produces one of the best tea in the world. The resort is located in one of the tea estates belonging to Chamong group. ROOMS: We had occupied room no. 208 in a 4 rooms villa where two rooms were on ground level and two rooms were on first level. The villa is well manicured lawn and gazebo outside. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious offering the luxuries which one would expect from any resort. Though there are different categories of rooms, each room has its own beauty and unmatched comforts. Those with limitations on climbing up and down the slopes should prefer rooms next to the entrance and near the restaurant. FOOD: Excellent – just one word delicious. On day 1 we two were the only guests – still, the entire staff was there to assist in all possible manners. The taste of food served during lunch on day 1, Chinese food ordered during dinner and breakfast next morning will linger in our mouths and minds for a long time. Thanks to the staff and most importantly the Chef. THE STAY: We wish we were in a group with longer stay planned to roam around in the garden and the lawns, sipping tea sitting in gazebos overlooking the vast panoramic landscape of mountains, praying at nearby Lord Shiva temple and above all listening to the chirping of birds. Two nights’ stay was not enough. STAFF & SERVICE: Mr. Rishap, the manager, and his team deserves kudos for taking utmost care of the guests at this resort. In India hotel groups like Taj, Welcome and Oberois enjoy the impeccable reputation for their services. The staff and their services at this Resort can equal / surpass the standards set by Taj and others. ACTIVITIES: The best activities are – to watch sunrise over the mountains, take long walks in the morning and evening hours, listen to birds chirping and allowing your minds and hearts to be rejuvenated by the Mother Nature at its best. When one is in a place like a heaven, what other activity is required! The nearby Lord Shiva temple and visit to the more than 100 years old British era tea making facility are the two other activities.

The stay was exceptional, tranquil location amidst lush green tea plantation. Must mention the staffs, they were very cordial and forever serving with smile even after very long hours of duty. The Resort Manager Reshop Shanker was very helpful and courteous. All their hospitality made our stay like home away from home.

Our family of seven had an absolutely excellent experience at this property, having booked four Rangbhavan rooms. Initially, we were a little skeptical about visiting Darjeeling during the monsoons, but trust me, the experience was beyond words. The property's location is bang on! You can literally see the clouds below you, with mist all around, creating an incredibly serene and picturesque atmosphere. A massive shoutout to Mr. Rishabh, the property manager, who was exceptional with our hospitality. Whatever we needed, he made sure it was readily available to us. His dedication truly made a difference. Apart from the stunning location and outstanding hospitality, one thing we will never forget is the food experience. The chef was incredibly sweet and nice; whatever we asked him to make, he prepared it with so much love. The food was consistently fresh and tasted unmatched. Even the serving staff and cleaning staff were so warm and friendly, adding to the overall positive vibe. The entire experience was so memorable for me and my family. We left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such a delightful stay! This was an experience I will cherish forever;)

My mind hit the much needed reboot button. The serenity and soulfulness of the place is unmatched. The hospitality is up to the mark and the rooms are very comfortable. Wished to have stayed longer to soak in more of Chamong Chiabari. Great job guys

We booked 10 rooms and what a gala time we all cousins ageing from 45 to 70 had. Amazing place , amazing (5*+ )rooms and facilities, courteous and efficient staff. Strong recommendation for an friends and family outing irrespective of group size

The rooms were elegant and luxurious, with lots of space and airy-ness. The property is well maintained with very hospitable staff and management. Overall, an intriguing and inspiring stay. The food and service was very appreciable, especially the tea experience.
