We were lucky enough to find a cabin in this venue, as the famous Ko Pha Ngang Full Moon Party was approaching fast. It didn’t look like much, but hey, we were only going to ‘sleep it off’ anyway, right? In short: it’s fit for purpose. Sure, it can’t be called luxurious and it desperately needs a lick of paint, but other than that it has all it needs: beds, a hot shower, functioning wifi and two ultra-friendly owners who also run a shop at the reception and also provide laundry service. It is more expensive than the average Thai hotel, but what do you expect? A stay right next to the Glastonbury main stage for a tenner? It’s called ‘supply and demand’ people!
