Je connaissais le chef mais pas le lieu...une belle surprise ! Le chef Samy reste fidel à sa cuisine et je le remercie pour ?a : authentique et à la fois originale pour un prix tout à fait abordable! Le lieu ? une très belle découverte, un accueil chaleureux et convivial de la part des propriétaires passionnés par leur petit paradis à quelques pas du centre de Draguignan... Une très belle découverte pour moi Je recommande pour toutes occasions !

Baptiste and Julia are the consummate hosts. They have taken an old run-down chateau and turned it into a magical place. I asked if I could help Baptiste with his organic farm and he happily accepted (Baptiste always has a smile for everyone). I joyfully learned about organic gardening. If you want to understand France, go to Draguignan. If you want to live like the French, go to Chateau des Salles. I have been to France several times before and on one extended stay. My stay at Chateau des Salles was the absolute best experience I have ever had.

We loved the warm welcome of the hosts, Julia and Baptiste and their family. The estate is enormous, full of history, and makes a perfect setting for enjoying some quiet days away from the city. We rented a large apartment, all decorated 19th century, except bathroom of course which is very modern. A large kitchen was at our disposal. All very clean. Breakfast is served by the host in front of the house under the amazing Sycamore and Chestnut trees.
