This is hands down the most comfortable, luxurious and friendly place we have ever been. It is a curated experience, from fantastic cooked to order English breakfast every day, ultra lux linens and mattresses, robes and decor. Amanda and Nigel are the owners, their daughters are the staff, and they are on site all the time because they love the place and the guests. Amanda is a designer by trade, and the pictures don’t do justice to the beauty and grace with which she has restored this inn. My wife notices little touches like makeup towels, the best lotions and shampoo, single malt, sherry and port wine at night and cappuccinos made one at a time in the morning. The grounds are beautiful, and Chatham is a delightful seaside town only a five minute walk from the inn, quieter and quainter than most. Life only gives you a few days like this my friends.

We stayed at the Chatham Gables Inn this weekend for a wedding at the Cape. Amanda,Nigel and their family made our stay very comfortable. They went out of their way to spend time with us, discussing the Inn, learning about us and giving tips for our stay at the Cape. The food was delicious and the rooms are charming. The grounds are impeccable with the hydrangeas in full bloom! It was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend The Chatham Gables Inn for your next stay in Cape Cod.

Our time at Chatham Gables Inn was absolutely amazing! The grounds, our room, and the inn were gorgeous. Breakfast each morning was the best! It was the perfect place to stay while visiting Chatham! We can’t wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Chatham Gables. The property is beautiful - recently renovated, with nice yard and gardens, lots of beautiful flowers. Our room was spacious and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning outside - huge breakfast that fueled us right for the day. Amanda and Nigel are so welcoming and helpful, they gave many great suggestions on things to do, restaurants, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband & I have just spent a wonderful weekend at Chatham Gables Inn- walking distance to Chatham Main St. This is a fabulous house with the warmest and most friendly owners …Amanda & Nigel and their daughter Charlotte…nothing was too much trouble from arranging restaurant bookings to giving advice on the many things to see and do Chatham. Breakfast is special- imaginative and wonderfully presented menu of fresh produce and home baked pastries.

We were lucky enough to spend 4 wonderful nights at the Chatham Gables Inn. We were warmly greeted by Charlotte who gave us a tour and was rightly proud of the wonderful place the family have created. The history was fascinating and, although the building was one of the oldest in the area, it has been beautifully decorated to the most comfortable standard. The breakfasts are the best I've had in the US, and we really enjoyed the thoughtful touches of Baileys and port in the evening whilst we played the selection of board games available in one of the lovely rooms. Amanda and Nigel were very welcoming and gave us great tips on local restaurants. Charlotte and Connor also took the time to recommend local beaches and places to visit on Cape Cod. The Inn is perfectly situated for exploring the charming town of Chatham and its lovely local restaurants. If we ever go back to Cape Cod we will definitely be staying at the Chatham Gables Inn if we can!

Our first stay in a US bed & breakfast - and what a way to start! Well appointed room, and really, really excellent breakfasts. Above all a really, really warm welcome and a friendly staff-family team. A real delight, and excellently placed to explore the whole of Cape Cod. Highly recommended.

This B&B gave my mom and sisters and I the best experience ever. For MANY reasons. First and foremost, the hospitality is warm and amazing. Amanda is the owner and she has lovingly restored the home, creating a truly fine B&B. She knows the history and has respected it, while upgrading her rooms into truly luxurious hideaways. The very first night, I had an issue with the pilot light in my room's fireplace (which turned out to be nothing) but Amanda came back to the house from her nearby home to check on it for me. Then she found an extra blanket for my mom, despite my insistence that she not bother. Well, my mom USED that blanket and I was deeply glad for Amanda's extra effort. The grounds at Chatham Gables Inn are so lovely that each morning before breakfast, I took my Mom out strolling there. She is 94 and doesn't move too fast, so it was a treat to have the gardens to ourselves. We also took lots of sister pictures at this quaint little garden spot with a wooden swing and a painted bicycle. The breakfasts were truly amazing. We had a choice each night of which of two or 3 dishes we'd like; the next morning they were presented to our gasps of delight. I'm not a foodie, but I definitely took pictures of the French toast, the parfaits and more. None of us ate anything there that didn't melt in our mouths. On the last day, my sister (who stayed in a room upstairs) and I both ended up searching for the manufacturer's tag on the bed sheets and (unbeknownst to the other) taking pictures so we could order them for our beds at home. They were that comfortable. Plus, when we were talking to Amanda about the sheets and how fabulous they were, she offered to show us the laundry operation in the basement of the house, just out of fun and to satisfy our curiosity. We enjoyed that little trip immensely. Michelle, who also works at the Chatham Gables Inn, gave a huge boost to our stay with her recommendations of what to do for fun. She is a native, and she steered us away from the crowded shopping ***** in Chatham to Lemon Tree Village, in nearby Brewster, MA. We found the BEST shops there, starting with Woodworks Gallery (don't miss it). And we found a terrific sandwich shop there as well. So much better than the shopping in Chatham, which was extremely pricey, preppy and crowded. (Although we did enjoy a great book store there our first night.) Another wonderful tip from Michelle was to stop in Sandwich, MA. to see the Heritage Museum and Gardens on our way back to the Boston Airport. We thought maybe she was overselling it, because she was SO enthusiastic. But then ... we saw the gardens! We spent an hour there trying to take in all the beauty and lushness; every one of us enjoyed it so much. Once again, we felt beholdent to Michelle for sharing her expertise. All in all, our stay at Chatham Gables Inn was a highlight of our week in the Cape Cod area. The combination of luxury, quaintness, hospitality and superb food won us over. We are truly eager

Amanda and Nigel have found the balance between treating guests like extended family while providing superb bed and breakfast service (but that doesn't do it justice). The property has all the style and comfort of a special home that has been renovated and furnished with great care and a keen eye. The location is close enough to town for an active walk and a few minutes from a delightful beach. Highly recommended.
