We were here shortly after staying in a much larger Airbnb in Caen. While smaller and humbler, we were struck by the fact that Chiara Rooms was far better thought out. Coat hooks by the door, check. Charging station with shelf, check. Shelf above the bathroom sink, check. Comfortable bed and pillows, check. Clean, spacious shower, check. Wifi code easy to find, check. Only two minor issues. One, the shelf in the shower is high so you can’t see if anything’s in it. The second issue I had was with the keys, especially the one for the sliding door to the rooms. It’s far too fiddly, and it took me a couple of days to master it. This could be a serious issue in an emergency. Central location right off the main square. A LOT of steep stairs, but easily doable for most folks. Bad knees? Unfit? This is not for you.
