Nothing to dislike about this place. Location perfect , but it’s the staff that work here who make it , nothing is too much trouble , they work tirelessly to keep everyone happy and the hotel, apartments and outside areas are kept so clean and tidy. I stayed in a studio and there was everything you needed in them. Beds comfortable , showers really nice and the views from balcony perfect , I slept with the balcony door slightly open so could sleep to sound of the waves. There was iron, hairdryer coffee machines lovely gesture of coffee / teas sweets etc . Such a lovely place and felt very safe as a solo traveler . I will definitely return

We stayed here 23 - 30 May 2025 on the second week of our holiday in Crete. A wonderful hotel in Nea Chora, Chania, right next to a beautiful beach. Our room was very comfortable indeed and had a marvellous balcony overlooking the beach (the balcony had no awning or sun umbrella but the very helpful staff put up a temporary sun umbrella so so we could get more use out of our balcony even when the sun was shining directly on it but a more permanent awning would be useful). The hotel is in the very pleasant Nea Chora district of Chania which has excellent restaurants as well as some very good bakeries and places that serve good quality souvlaki and gyros. The staff in the hotel were lovely and so helpful. As well as the superb beach, the outdoor swimming pool was excellent and very well maintained. This hotel was a little above our normal budget but well worth it - we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel (which is on seafront in Nea Chora) is about a twenty minute walk from the old town and the Venetian port. There’s also a bus stop a few hundred metres from the hotel that has quite frequent buses that go to the outskirts of the old town and to many other locations. Taxis in Chania are quite reasonably priced but it’s worth noting that traffic can be quite heavy. The new archeological museum on the other side of town has a remarkable collection of antiquities, and its café terrace has wonderful views over the bay and towards the Venetian port.

The review is about the beach restaurant of the hotel of the same name. They have very good food and decent prices. The special pizza is very good and the pork steak is huge, served with pita, salad and fries and costs only 14Euro. You have to order at a counter, where you pay immediately and you get an electronic device that you take with you to the table, or on the beach, which will vibrate and beep when the food is ready and you have to go and bring it to the table yourself. They also have pasta, club sandwiches, burgers, desserts and drinks.

Great location. Wonderful room with oceanfront view and large balcony with umbrella, furniture and Jacuzzi. Room service staff did a great job too, every day. Close to beach and restaurants. Easy car access in and out of city and free on-site parking.

This low-rise property is right on Nea Chora beach, with a number of tavernas, bakeries and mini marts within walking distance to the hotel along the beach boardwalk and Selinou St. Parking is also available. We loved the informal beach vibe, friendly staff and proximity to shopping and the Venetian Harbour of Chania.

The hotel was beautiful the view breathtaking and the employees always with a smile! The restaurant had excellent food, and huge portions almost on everything the price was cheap for the amount of food and the quality you got ! The bar is peaceful and also has good prices. George from there made us one of the best Irish coffee we ever had and some nice cocktails. The experience was in total great We suggest it with no second though !

Nice hotel exceeded expectations for this critical traveler. Clean and comfortable rooms with fridge, coffee, espresso machine, super hot shower with great flow!! Great location - on a beautiful beach, easy and beautiful seaside walk to town. Super friendly, helpful, positive staff.

We chose this hotel for its location and it was perfect. It is located right at the beginning of the boulevard and a 15-minute walk from the old town. The view is sublime (see photo). We had room 4060. Rooms are not large, but everything is there and really clean. It is cleaned every day and often new towels and sheets. Highly recommended. Thank you Anna for the great tips about Crete!!

Lovely hotel set just off the beach. The rooms were a good size and were cleaned everyday. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Old town was 20 mins walk away but a taxi was only 6Euro early evening and 8 at midnight. There is also a bus stop nearby that's only 2e each. The beach bar was excellent, the food and the prices were really good. The beach was lovely but unless you got up early and put towels on the sunbeds you couldn't get a bed as it was so busy. It was 10e for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. There is a pool but it is very small and is in the shade from approx 1pm . Apart from this the Christina Beach is an excellent hotel.
