This is a wonderful B&B - large tastefully decorated room with all the facilities one needs including good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was excellent and Jacci is a great hostess. Also the price is reasonable. I highly recommend it,

Church View B & B is a fabulous little gem a short drive from Sligo. Have fun in Sligo, rest in Gorteen ! The place is quiet, impeccably clean and Jaci is a fantastic host! We rested well, ate well and had a great experience overall. If you are looking to experience the country side with the locals, this is the place for you. Thank you Jaci from two Canadian travellers!

Won't be booking there again
Host neither welcoming nor helpful, I needed transportation into the next town and all I got was a card with a phone number and the words 'probably he won't do it because it's a part time taxi and he works early...'
Be aware Gurteen is a town where the last bus is at 9 pm, no taxi service and even Uber bailed 5 min before the requested time (23h30) - so a car is an absolute obligation!
Regarding the room, I really don't know what laundry detergent is used in this B&B but upon getting into the room the smell was so strong, it gave me a headache, which was a pity since the mattress was quite good...
Overall a very disappointing experience.

Very average. The small double bed & noisy road made the stay uncomfortable. Also the room was very warm.

Comfortable beds
We were very happy with our room. The bed was so comfortable , the layout was great. I loved that they had 2 chairs and a table in between to watch tv as well as have a tea and coffee with a little biscuit .Free bottled water . They also included little extras like manicure set, toothpicks, toiletries . Bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. We loved our stay , as good as any big hotel. Didn’t get to sample breakfast as we had an early start. Easy parking and easy checkout too.Not sure if it was the owner but the lady that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming and informative . Wed Definitely stay again .

Deze b en b ligt aan een drukke doorgaande weg. Helaas hadden wij een kamer aan de voorkant en dat gaf dus veel lawaai van het verkeer. De kamer was wel goed schoon. De omgang met ons als gast was wat zakelijk en niet erg gastvrij. Het ontbijt , dat je kon bestellen, smaakte prima maar verwacht geen uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. De plaats is niet sfeervol of gezellig, wij gingen van hieruit naar de omgeving van Sligro. Dat was goed te doen.

The owner was very accomodating to our very late check in amd didnt make us feel rushed at all. The food was delicious!

Fabulous B&B! Lovely location, breakfast was brilliant, room was very comfortable. Overall service was outstanding, the host was very welcoming and helpful.
Highly recommend.
