This is an idiosyncratic hotel for sure, it is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The rooms are large and well appointed. There are cats but this was not a problem for us they don't bother you and i did'nt pick up on any smells. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area etc. They do have rules and they do let you know if have transgressed. I for one would return, good boot room with boot heaters and ski storage bus stop nearby slopes 2 stops away on a regular service
This is our second visit . Petra and her mum Erika provide an warm welcome and excellent service . Rooms are cosy and cleaned daily. Good selection at breakfast. Nice bar area . Ski storage facilities. Great location for ski and summer activities. Petra is local and can help with any questions you have . 5 mins walk to main town . Good access to local hiking trails and bus routes to explore other valleys. We would definitely stay again . Thank you
It’s different to review this idiosyncratic hotel as when I visited the owner was running the place more or less on her own and it was end of season. There is only so much time any one person has and the number of tasks that can be performed. Let’s be charitable and cross our finger to hope full staffing will make improvements. The one thing unlikely to change, is the owner’s love of cats. The animals get everywhere and their smell follows and it’s for that reason I’d be reluctant to return.
