Cicada Lodge was a huge diamond in the rough surprise. We were beyond happy with the accommodations, service, and the food was excellent! I will defintely be coming back!

The rooms were luxurious and had everything you would expect for a top priced room. Staff were excellent and service was good. The restaurant was exceptional. Our friends stayed in the cabins and unfortunately theirs had no shower water, but maintenance fixed that by the end of the evening. We also did the two gorge river cruise. Wonderful experience.

Très bon standing si l’on considère ce lieu du bout du monde. Grande chambre agencement original dans un lodge au sein d’un parc. Recherche certaine au niveau de la cuisine du restaurant. Excellent petit déjeuner. Très belle salle et terrasse. Attention aux moustiques sur là terrasse ! Une bonne adresse.

Die Lage ist sehr gut- direkt an der Gorge. Die Zimmer sind recht angenehm eingerichtet, allerdings keinerlei Ausblick. Der Pool ist leider sehr lieblos und nicht gemütlich. Das Abendessen deutlich überteuert. Man kann deutlich mehr aus dieser Location machen.

Beautifully situated, great service, clean and tidy accommodation. Absolutely loved the food. If you are in the area you must give this a go. Great walks and MTB trails easily accessed right from the lodge. You can even relax by the pool which was lovingly refreshing.

We spent 2 nights, interrupted by a 3-days’ canoeing tour, in this beautiful lodge. A large room with all luxury needed. And what a restaurant! Fine dining with wonderful menus and good wines. Definitely a place to go!

i can't rate this place highly enough. The staff are amazing and worked tirelessly to do evyerthng to assist our groups stay. There was NOTHING that they wouldn't do to help, and they did it with a smile, grace and professionalism. Special mention to Jekah and Jake who were amazing. The rooms are clean, airy, amongst the trees and so comfortable. Food amazing and the surrounds just wonderful. Thank you for sharing your land Jarwoyn People.

The food was disappointing given we paid $125 head. I had cured ocean trout which was well presented but nothing great. The main was barramundi and it was overcooked and bland. The dessert was a panna cotta which had way too much gelatine. The service was also disappointing, with our wine not filled, my plates taken while my husband was still eating and we had difficulty getting the waiter’s attention. The young woman waitress who did not serve us from the Philippines and was delightful. When we booked put table we explained about dietary requirements but these were ignored when we arrived. A completely disappointing experience.

Great to be immersed in the bush but with all the comforts of home on hand. The staff were, without exception, friendly and professional. The food was delicious and it was lovely to eat out on the deck by the pool and under the stars. The rooms were very comfortable and nothing was wanting.
