Easy to find ref local transport from the station. I was on a work visit ref local history of Normandy. Room large. Warm. An attached twin. Bathroom was fine somewhat dusty ref radiator. Shower not good. Funny flow and aeration. Ground floor stank of a peculiar smell. Outside ref patio dirty and needs a proper jet wash. Shame as beautiful limestone. Some strange lighting system on the patio. Flashing on and off. Despite me mentioning nothing done. Breakfast fine. Despite constant bleating about environment the coffee was a Nespresso machine. Was foul. Def environmentally inappropriate!!! Staff just sort of dismissed you and wanted your cash. Johnny ? the manager. Seemed to not care less.

Charming property with spacious rooms. Great location within easy walking distance to restaurants and sights. Best suited for people who can carry luggage upstairs.

Fabulous stay! Many folks stay in Bayeau when visiting the beaches of Normandy but Caen is less touristy! This small boutique hotel is not far from the beaches and offers a glimpse of local life. Hotel staff is friendly and rooms are clean! Hotel is very quiet. The only thing that wakes you up is the birds! Rooms are not air conditioned but windows open and they provide fans. We stayed in a family room that was perfect for three! Twin bed in one room and queen in the other. Nice sitting area with great selection of drinks in the mini fridge. Wonderful breakfast too! Relaxing atmosphere!

It was adorable and great location. The service was excellent. Our charge, as we thought was about $100. But at checkout it was additional 90. We were told to "come, in it's free" regarding breakfast, it was not. Too much $ for breakfast.

Ottimo veramente. Raffinato e romantico. Camere caratteristiche e spaziose. Personale gentilissimo. Colazione molto ricca con prodotti tipici in ambiente elegante. Molta libertà e privacy. Torneremo sicuramente anche perché Caen è molto carina

La habitación no estaba mal pero no reflejaba lo que se veia en la foto de la web. La imagen de la foto presentaba un ambiente distinto al que encuentras en la realidad. Además si escoges las habitaciones de la planta alta hay que tener en cuenta que no hay ascensor y la escalera no es demasiado cómoda

Lovely city centre hotel.
Really nice hotel, slightly hidden away but at the same time very conveniently located in the city. Really helpful staff and a lovely room. We couldn't have asked for more.

Hard to find
We arrived for q30 and no one was there to greet us. No elevator. This is an air b and b not a hotel. Had to carry the bags up several flight. Cute place very clean, but would not go back. Location was very good. The signage is terrible.

I was on a family trip to Normandy, staying in Caen for three nights. We had the Blue Room and the Green Room and everyone loved this small, beautiful hotel. It's in a renovated 17th and 18th century building. Each of our rooms was very large (bedroom, bathroom, and a closet / dressing room), impeccably clean, quiet, and comfortable. The rooms face a beautiful courtyard instead of the street. Wi-Fi was very good. There's ample paid parking nearby (free overnight and on Sunday). The included breakfast spread was terrific, including locally grown pears and local cheese, meats, and more. I'd love to stay here again! Caen is a wonderful city to visit in its own right and is also an excellent base for Bayeux and the D-Day beaches.
