Staff was helpful. Restaurant staff was accommodating to dietary needs, personable, and informative! Rooms were large and clean!

Everything about our stay was wonderful! From the special cupcakes and note for my mom's birthday that were in our room on our arrival, to the fresh, delicious, made-to-order breakfasts, wonderful service, and thoughtful touches such as umbrellas, ponchos, and rubber boots available for use. It was raining and cloudy the week we were there but cleared up on our last day and we were able to enjoy the amazing views and the walking trails on the property. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the server noted my mom was standing near the fire to keep warm while we were waiting for our table and arranged to have our dinner served in front of the fire which my mom loved. The location was also very close to town and convenient. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Monteverde.

die Cloud Forest Lodge Monteverde ist eine ausgezeichnete Adresse mit hervorragendem Preis-Leistungs-Verh?ltnis. Alles ist in bestem und gepflegten Zustand und die Küche ist hervorragend. Das gesamte Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, kompetent in der Rezeption und immer gut gelaunt und aufmerksam im Restaurant. Besonders erw?hnen m?chten wir hier Justin, Erik und Dennis, die für eine tolle Atmosph?re im Restaurant gesorgt haben und jederzeit ansprechbar waren. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. The room including the bathroom was very spacious and clean. Rooms had a good variety of coffee/tea plus bathroom amenities (lotion, shampoo, etc.). Breakfasts were filling and balanced but were lacking in animal protein. Overall the hotel and trails were very enjoyable. The only downsides: location (a bit further from town center) and restaurant was quite pricey (not sure if the food was worth the cost).

Wir hatten ein riesiges Zimmer und obwohl das n?chste Hotelzimmer nicht weit weg war, hatte man das gefühl alleine zu sein. Beim Blick aus dem Fenster dachte man, man ist mitten im Dschungel. Das Essen war sehr lecker und man kann direkt vom Hotel aus einiges erleben. Wir haben einen nightwalk mitgemacht und der war sehr spannend.

This is a quiet and relaxing place to connect with nature. The resort is located in the Cloud Forest and offers several trails for hiking and a Canopy Zipline on property. The staff is extremely accommodating and the food is excellent.

The staff was amazing!! Could not do enough for you. The room was very nice and clean, the views from the property were beautiful. We did not know there was a little town not far til the day we left, that was disappointing. The road to the lodge was unpaved and unlit, it was good the dining room and menu had good variety cuz after dark we weren’t driving anywhere. I wish they had had a hot tub and spa, would have been a nice option.

Rooms were simple but spacious and very clean and comfortable beds and linens. Cute little patio. Included breakfast was gourmet and excellent. The dinner options were a little expensive and not many options for the kids but was gourmet and great for foodies. The restaurant itself had a fireplace which looked great but made the lodge quite smoky and our clothes and hair smelled quite strong afterwards. The trails were very nice. It’s off the beaten path so after dark around 5:30 there’s not much to do but rest or taxi to the nearest town. Very challenging roads.
