We dined here last week and enjoyed our visit - although they did mess up our son's order it was quickly fixed. We all agreed they weren't the best chips we have ever had but we enjoyed them well enough. The food was nice and the restaurant was pleasant - we had a window seat which was nice to people watch. The bill was around ￡35 for two adults and a child. Staff were friendly.

I’m glad we came across this little Gem! It was in a fantastic location. It was an easy self check in, with codes to the door and your room. The room it self was a lovely size with a big bathroom. I would definitely recommend this wonderful place, to anyone staying in Whitby.

Stayed here in room 2 which had great views of Church street, nice clean and cozy room with tea/coffee facilities, TV, bathroom with shower, was classy room and stairwell decor too. Plenty of bars restaurants and cafes locally for eating and takeaways to especially Hadleys chip shop downstairs. Booked direct with Nicole and was a cheaper option. Cobbleview is in the centre up from the swing bridge .

Had a lovely 2 night stay over the May Day bank holiday weekend, cobbleview was perfect for our needs, it’s right in the centre of Whitby so everything is right on your doorstep, the bed was comfy the room was very clean with plenty of tea and toffee, the host Nicole went out of her way to make sure our stay was pleasurable so thank you for that and yes we would definitely stay again.

A second stay at Cobbleview Rooms. As previously, comms with Nicole were spot-on, prompt, friendly and detailed. Parking on Church street is ￡10.80 for 24 hours, good for leaving your car overnight. There's also a parking bay for about five cars very close to the property, one hour maximum stay, useful for unloading and getting bags into the room. Lovely decor in the hall and stairs (the black and white!) and special touches like the tea/coffee/other necessities 'stand', should what have you in the room run out. As for the room itself, clean, spacious and warmly inviting with a great view down the cobbled part of Church Street and St. Mary's Church on top of the hill. Bed was comfy, a good-sized flatscreen TV well positioned and a shower with plenty of pressure. Fan was provided but not needed, despite it getting up to 22 degrees outside. Plus lots of little things, like the bird tea-light holder, I do need that at home! This is a property in the centre of a popular bustling seaside resort, so with windows open there is noise from cars, people etc. passing below, but it's not obtrusive, even soothing in a way, makes you realise you're on holiday. Windows closed and you can't hear a thing, so great sound insulation. It's very central, everywhere in Whitby is within walking distance. Be it the 199 steps up to the Abbey, the harbour or the beach, all are just minutes away. Would thoroughly recommend.

The room was clean, well decorated and the T&C was very good and included bottled water. We stayed on one of the coldest nights in Whitby, but the room was toasty warm and even had a fan heater, which we didn’t need. So, why not a higher rating? Excellent location, but parking was a nightmare. The room was on the second floor up a very steep spiral staircase. A previous reviewer actually counted the steps, 41, which was difficult with bags and not accessible for people with mobility issues, a point not mentioned on the website. The view was not of cobbles, but a grubby triangular courtyard that you wouldn’t want to gaze upon. Finally, there was no ‘service’ as communication by text is not good enough, we never spoke to anyone from the chip shop next door or the text loving Nicola.

Lovely 2 night stay had here. Lovely room, big clean bathroom. Great views. Its compact but everything needed. Perfect position in Central whitby. Gorgeous coffee shop rightoutside for breakfast. Def will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay, excellent central location large comfortable room comfy bed great walk in shower very clean everything you need hairdryer iron fan plenty of tea coffee would highly recommend

Another enjoyable stay at Cobbleview. This is definitely our go to place when staying in Whitby. In the centre of whitby itself these en suite rooms have everything you need for a break away. The room and bathroom are spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, TV, kettle with tea, coffee, biscuits etc and if you're running low on anything Nicole is very attentive and just a message to her and she'll provide you with what you need. We stayed in room 3 it doesn't have a view out of the window but we didn't mind as it was just a clean, comfortable base for us to go enjoy what whitby has to offer. Will definitely be staying again.
