The room was nice in every respect: its size, cleanliness, and interior. The only downside was that the air conditioning was very inadequate for heating the room; it didn't warm it up.
Accommodation was exactly as described. Clean and tidy with lots of space. The location was great with only short walks to more popular locations and sites. There's plenty of local restaurants and cafes which was ideal for 10 days. We saw warnings about avoiding back streets but actually found a really nice fish restaurant, nice church with kids playing in the streets. There were also 2 reasonable supermarkets in the vicinity, better value than the multiple minimarts in the area. You are right next to the metro if you don't want to walk. You can easily get to and from the airport for 9 euros with only one change. We did the bus tour which operate from across the road. There was a lot of homeless but that was more between the apartment and Omonia. You see them but they're not aggressive or demanding. I've saw a lot worse elsewhere especially in the UK. Couldn't recommend enough, especially for the price. The staff were very friendly, we didn't need to contact them for anything and they only contacted for cleaning and check in and out. The Christmas village was actually the highlight although seeing a tortoise near the Parthenon was a close second.
It's spotless! Close to the subway station, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, and cafes, it's in a really good location. There are many things to do within walking distance.
The only downside to our stay was that the building was undergoing renovation, and scaffolds were positioned outside our window, which affected our privacy. We had to keep the blinds closed all the time. I suppose this is a positive aspect, as they are taking good care of the building.
Easy access, super friendly customer service. Helped us out every time we needed assistance. We also had a sudden change in flights and needed an extra night by only a few hours warning: done with no hustle! Such a relief. Thanks! The room was super clean and had a capsule coffee maker (4 capsules provided), and a kettle.
Good experience overall! Metro is nearby. Hop on Hop off tour bus A13 stop is across the rotunda in the traffic cirlce. Directions for access to accomodation was concise. Would consider selecting for future visit to Athens.
